Chapter VI: Alpha & his Beta II

Unexpected

What had just happened was not anticipated by Glory. She knew that the massive three headed titan was peculiar & strange but this was just not something Glory would've ever thought of, especially with not even a day of meeting.

Glory anticipated many great things from the golden titan but this was not one of them. Glory had no idea what she did to impress the golden titan for him to shield her from the storm he made.

His reason?

Glory was at a loss on why he did it.

'Today is just so full of suprises'

Not only that, every now and then the left head would dip his head down to look at her, slightly tilting his head in curiosity for a few moments before looking back up and returning to his previous position.

Glory found it strange that the three headed king would go through the effort for her, but no matter how hard she thought of the probabilities, the possibilities, nothing adds up or makes sense at all

But that doesn't mean she isn't greatful for the golden king. Glory has been around for a long time & no king she had ever met did this to her.

Until now.

The golden king has earned Glory's respect and this is one of the reasons.

Ichi was well aware of the glare that was sent his way by Ni but paid him no mind, partially because; he wasn't his biggest concern and because his mind was occupied with certain thoughts and ideas.

His thoughts were more or less wanting to prove to the whole world that they were the king the little lizard will never be.

Upon hearing Ichi's thoughts, Ni scowled at him.

"Why the hell do we need to prove ourselves to other creatures, the world? We don't need anyone's approval." - Ni growled

Ichi shifted his gaze towards Ni, glaring at him when he emphasised 'anyone'.

"Well if we are going to rule over this rock, whether it be temporary or longer if given the chance or opportunity - might as well act like one." - Ichi hissed

"You've said it yourself, if given the chance, meaning there is very little chance we're going to stay here for more than than a year. So it's pointless to even
consider it. - Ni

"We've longed for respect since we were mere hatchlings, have we not? This a chance, an oppurtunity for us to prove to those who looked down at us eons ago. This is an oppurtunity for us to terraform this planet just as we promised them, we will not let a world be spared. " - Ichi proclaimed

Ni stayed silent for a few moments, still retaining the glare that was for Ichi, before grumbling as he looked away.

Ichi sighed as his gaze went forward, almost forgetting about the white sprite that was just below them before-

The white sprite called out to them, catching their attention.

The white sprite looked up to them with her mesmerizing yet familiar golden eyes while they looked down at her with their crimson ones. Their eyes were locked before the white sprite once again called out to them, this time however, the call had a worried tone laced through it.
