Queen Slay

Madam Slay or Lena

Lena goes to check on her father in the guest room in the palace and checks on him. She also brings Sariah to visit her grandparents. She had to tell her father that his brother was dead and she was the one who took his life.

She knocks on the door and Sandra answers "Hi Lena, and my baby Sariah come in" Lena walks in and sees her father walking around "Dad you should be resting you just got shot!" "Lena I'm fine it doesn't hurt that bad"
"Hurting or not you have to rest"
"So I heard my brother attacked the palace is he?"
"Dead dad?"
"Yes that's what I'm asking"
"Yes he is.. and I'm the one that killed him"
Charles couldn't believe it but he knew it would be Lena
"I did what I had to do dad.. the world including Wakanda itself will be destroyed if he was still living plus he tried to kill me and take Sariah"

"It's going to take a lot of understanding you being Madam Slay and defending Wakanda.. I guess it was coming to him sooner or later"
" I know dad..it's when I'm in that suit I feel powerful and I feel like nothing can stop me"
"Don't let the power consume you.. at the end of the day you are Princess Lena Udaku not Madam Slay"
"I understand daddy.. I guess I have to balance them both..Dad I was trying to protect my family and you saving me from being killed"

"No matter what I will always protect my family it doesn't matter how old my daughter gets"
"I love you daddy"
"I love you too my princess"

She gives him a hug and Sandra comes in with Sariah in her arms
"Lena we know you did what you had to do, that is what being a hero you have to make choices"
"I'm still trying to get the hang of being a hero it takes time"
"And you will Lena"

Lena stays with her parents for another couple of hours and heads out to the garden holding Sariah and Monty following behind. Erik was with T'Challa in Oakland planning on the new outreach center and they wouldn't be home for another two days. Lena missed Erik but duty calls when you are a prince.
"My princess I miss your daddy and I know you do too"

Sariah giggles and gives Lena slobbery kisses on her face. As Lena sits in the garden watching the sunset, she never thought she would kill someone so brutal especially her uncle. Maybe she had to talk to Erik about after killing someone and how did he feel.

She walks out of the garden and heads back in the room to put Sariah to sleep and for her to relax. She looks up at the ceiling thinking she can do this.. she can be Lena, the sweet loving,soft spoken person and be Madam Slay the fiercest,powerful woman who shows no fear and defends when needed. Lena turns to her side and falls asleep. She wakes up the next morning and sees Erik in the bed spooning her and she turns around facing him giving him a kiss "Hey sexy wake up" placing kisses in his face til he woke up "Hey baby I'm home early just got in two hours ago"
"I'm glad you're home I missed you" "I did too.. I have to talk with you later about something"
"Can you tell me now?"
"Well it's not finalized yet I'll let you know"
"Well it's going to drive me crazy all day trying to figure out what it is"
"I know Lena.. let's just say we might be relocating"
"Relocating?"
"Yea baby we might be leaving Wakanda"
"I'll let you sleep and I'll go get some breakfast"
She kisses Erik one more time and went to go get breakfast while Sariah was sleeping.

As she gets her breakfast, T'Challa comes in the kitchen "Good morning Lena"
"Morning Challa you are back soon"
"Me and Erik got done early so has he asked you yet about relocating?"
"Sortive..he was sleepy but he told me we might be relocating"
"Okay how are you?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know after the fight"
"It has been challenging I never thought I would kill like that I felt like I was Erik in Killmonger mode"
"Me either but sometimes your powers can consume you.. just have to control it"
"My dad said the same thing"
"He's right.. but with your uncle it was either him or you on that ground dead but you defended yourself"
T'Challa sips on his coffee
"Being a hero can make you ask many questions about being just Lena or when you become Madam Slay.. you have to separate the two personalities in order to keep yourself balanced"
"I never thought about that"
"I do it all the time being T'Challa Udaku to becoming the Black Panther .. I understand where you are coming from been there done that"
"Thanks for the advice Challa"
"No problem just remember you are Lena Udaku at the end of the day"
Lena nods at T'Challa and finishes her breakfast
"Hey Lena before you go, I need to tell you something"
"What is it?"
"I just wanted to ask you if you could go with me to get something I need your opinion"
"And what is that Challa?"
"An engagement ring"
"What! you gonna ask Nakia to marry you! I'm so excited for you!"
T'Challa put his finger on his lips to signal Lena to keep her from being too loud
"Oh I'm sorry I was too loud.. I am excited" she whispers
"I can tell so you have time to go right quick?"
"Of course this is a big step for you"
"Thank you"

T'Challa and Lena head out to the palace to pick up Nakia's ring and comes back walking down the hall
"So when are you going to ask her?"
"I'm planning a dinner for her tonight and I'm gonna ask her"
"Aww so romantic"

Erik was walking towards them "Hey baby how was your nap?"
"It was aight..what's romantic?"
"Challa here is going to ask Nakia to marry him I went with him to look at the ring he needed a second opinion"
"For real? cuz is settling down..happy for ya"
"Speaking of marriage Lena we haven't been on our honeymoon yet"
"Oh yea we didn't..we need to get on that"
"Oh yea get all in that.."
"Erik!"
"My bad"
T'Challa shakes his head
"You two are something.. nothings going on around here right now.. go enjoy your honeymoon"
"We will Challa"

T'Challa walks off and Erik grabs Lena by the waist "So where do you want to go?"
"I don't know maybe..Paris?"
"Paris sounds good for how long?"
"A week?"
"Okay baby we can start packing now before we do your prince needs some release right now in the bedroom"
"Ooo baby!" as Lena grabs his hand and leads him inside the bedroom and pins her against the wall as they make love right on the floor not even making it to their bed.
