Later that same night
Kathryn's pov
"Oh, come on, this game's fixed!" Alexandria shouts.
"How can a game where you watch me roll the dice in any way be fixed?" I ask, with confusion evident in my voice.
"Because you're a cheating scumbag" Alex insults. Jackson raises his eyebrows in surprise.
"I see you're still competitive like when we were kids" Jackson states. Alex gives him a death glare
"Shut it rich boy" She snubs, Jackson rolls his eyes and eats his duck whilst he waits for his turn.
"Alex calm down it's a game stop acting like a child" Aunt Jade warns
"Mom this is no game, this is a simulation of real-life" Alexandria sarcastically remarks
"Let's just carry on with the game," Mom says
"Nah I'm enjoying watching poor Alex have a meltdown all because Kathryn bought Mayfair to stop her from being able to put houses on em" Noah jokes as he eats his egg fried rice. (Yeah that's right I'm now a cheating scumbag because I bought Mayfair I do love my family).
"Fine, fine I'll just carry on playing with a load of cheaters who don't love me" Alex strops Jackson turns to Romeo and Logan.
"You two enjoying watching cartoons?" He asks they both nod
"Why's mummy acting like an idiot?" Logan asks, we all laugh including Alex
"Oh, she's just being stroppy because she's losing" Jack answers Logan laughs and goes back to watching cartoons we carry on with the game a little while longer as Alex continues to slowly burst blood vessels due to stress.
"I think we should all have one more turn each then call it a night as Alex is almost passing out whenever we roll the dice," Aunt Jade remarks we all nod in clear agreement and when I say all I mean all except Alex who scoffs
"But I'm so close to making you all bankrupt" She screeches
"On second thought maybe we should call it a night right now and declare Alex the winner if we all wanna wake up tomorrow" I state
"I second that statement" Jackson agrees the rest of us agree in turn.
"Alright you two let's get you to bed then tomorrow I'll take you to the beach for being good all week," Alex says with a huge smile and takes them both upstairs
"Guys I've got to get going I've got to meet Natalia early tomorrow morning," Jackson says
"Who's Natalia?" Aunt Jade asks with raised eyebrows
"His girlfriend he's probably going on a date" I joke
"No I'm helping her with her music since I can sing and play the guitar" he explains with a tight smile
"Oh sorry Mr perfect" I hit back
"Anyway, I'm gonna head off home see ya Mom, Aunt Joanna," he says giving them each a hug, he then turns to me
"Oh and Kathryn" he starts
"Yeah?" I ask
"Screw you" he finishes the presses my nose
"Boop" Jackson jokes and rushes out the door I chase him to the doorway
"Dick!" I shout then slam the door and lock it
"Shh, Logan and Romeo are asleep" Alex tells me off
"Sorry I'm off home to bed free day tomorrow," I say and head off home and go to bed.
