Kathryn's POV
Today is the day that makes or breaks my career, the grand opening of Huntsman Attire, if this goes wrong I might die of embarrassment (not literally but you get the idea). I lay down on the sofa and close my eyes this is kind of therapeutic in a weird way.
"Kathryn?" I hear someone whisper in my ear, I jump from my spot on the sofa, I look towards the intruder of my privacy and see Adam.
"Jesus fucking Christ Adam what are you doing in my house!?" I ask him loudly, he just smiles at me.
"Noah let me in as he was heading out for his jog, I thought I would come and check on you see how you were doing before the biggest and scariest day of your life, then I saw you lying there looking like Sleeping Beauty and just thought what do I love most in this world... annoying my beautiful, loving girlfriend Kathryn" He teases with a smirk, I glare slightly at him then shake my head.
"No one recognized you did they, I don't want the paparazzi knowing where me and my family live" I say he shakes his head.
"Don't worry I made sure no one could recognize me, I wore a hat, sunglasses and a hoodie" He replies, I smile (God what am I doing, don't smile at him it'll go to his head)
"Wow, we might as well call you Clark Kent because that disguise is super" I hit back sarcastically he rolls his eyes.
"You're such a nerd" He says with a small smile
"And you're a massive dick" I hit back
"Hey I'm not judging, I love superheroes" He replies
"Anyway can we move on from the fact that I am amazing at disguises, do you know what you're wearing, since I'm a professional I had a suit tailored to my liking and it is being delivered here as we speak" He explains arrogantly I give him a look
"Good for you, but since I'm a hard-working gal I designed my own and got Alex to make it et voilà" I say back to him he raises his eyebrows.
"Sorry Donatella Versace not everyone is as magic with their hands as you and Alex are" He teases, I raise my eyebrows.
"Wow didn't take you as someone who knew Donatella Versace" I say incredibly surprised.
"Of course she's a family friend" He retorts I click my tongue
"Of course she is" I mumble, my phone rings, Alex's caller ID pops up on the screen I pick it up and answer it.
"Hey Alex don't worry I'm just getting ready I'll be there in 10," I say
"It's not that I just needed someone to tell me everything is going to be ok before I have a panic attack," Alex says over the phone and not gonna lie this is one of the first times I've ever heard Alex sound this nervous and it's kind of sad (yes I actually can feel sorry for people)
"Alex don't worry it's going to be fine don't worry," I reassure, Adam sends me a look and raises his eyebrows wondering what the hell's going on
"But what if people hate our designs, it's not gonna be Huntsman's Attire, it's gonna be Huntsman's Atrocities" She replies nearly on the verge of tears.
"Don't worry I promise it'll be fine if you can raise two children all on you're own then this is gonna be a breeze for you, even if it's not perfect everyone will be so proud of you" I soothe she slowly starts to breathe slightly normal.
"Is she on the verge of a mental breakdown?" Adam asks quietly, I hold my finger to my lips (Some people are so rude sometimes) I hear Alex's breath catch on the other end of the phone.
