The Audition (pt. 2) ...

Seonghwa's POV :

We all gathered in our room.
"So what do you all think? Did he pass?" Hongjoong was looking at everyone.

Everyone remained silent.
"Alright, let's take a vote. Those who want him to join us, raise your hand on three.... 1,2,3!"

I quickly raised my hand. We looked at each other. Everyone, except Wooyoung had raised their hands. Wooyoung seemed annoyed when he saw everyone's hand up.

"Any specific reason why you don't want him to join us Woo?" Hongjoong's understanding nature is what makes him a good leader.

"Didn't you guys notice anything?" Wooyoung looked serious. I arched my eyebrow. "What do you mean by that?"

"Come on. His behavior is weird! Just yesterday he was not even able to speak to us because he is shy and now look at him! It's is suspicious!"

Everyone let out a sigh of relief and were almost cracking up.
"I'm serious guys!"
"Awww Wooyoungie, you look so cute when you're serious." San hugged him tightly.

"B-but..."
"Wooyoung... That is what I liked about him! Yesterday he was my friend's friend,but today he came here for an audition.... That's professionalism!" Hongjoong was smiling proudly. Wooyoung silently nodded in approval.

"So it's decided then! Yeosang will be our eighth member!" Jongho declared.
"Let's go back and tell him then!" Yunho said, already opening the door.

Yeosang looked at us expectantly as we all took our seats.
"So... Kang Yeosang. WELCOME TO OUR FAMILY!" Mingi screamed at him. He looked more excited than Yeosang.

There was a bright smile on Yeosang's face. He was probably trying his best not to start jumping with happiness in front of us. "T-thank you so much! I don't even have words.... This is like my dream coming true! I-"

His was searching for words. I noticed that he was getting emotional. He looked like he was on the verge of crying.
I suddenly got up, went straight to him and gave him a tight hug. I don't know why I did that, but it worked. He calmed down and hugged me back.

"You can move in whenever you want. You will be staying with Jongho."

"Yess, Yeosang! We'll have so much fun!" Jongho was happy to finally get a roommate.

"Beware of Jongho, he's the most annoying person you'll ever meet! Also... He bites HAHAHAH just like an animal" Mingi started teasing Jongho.
"You're so dead Mingi!!"
Sigh. Here they go again.

"I will move in today then. Evening. I have very less stuff to shift anyway."
"As you wish. Be frank from now on! We are a family!" "Yay! Group hug!" We all gathered around Yeosang and gave him a group hug. He was smiling. Everyone looked happy.

It was 6pm. Yeosang was at the door (punctual as usual), ready with all his stuff just outside.

"Um, can somebody help me carry these to the room please?" "Hand over all the heavy stuff to me, I'm pretty strong." Jongho said proudly.

I went up help. "Give me few things... I'll help you carry them."
"You can carry these boxes." I picked up one box. It was too light.
"Hey Yeosang, they are pretty light. What's in them?" "Uh, no nothing special. Just.... Some stuff. Don't open them." "Okay then."

Was it just my imagination or was he hiding something? He looked really alarmed.

I shrugged and we soon were done with the shifting.

"Woahhhh, shifted already? That's cool dude!" Mingi was energetic as usual.

"It'll take some time to prepare dinner. You all can do your work till then." I announced.

"Okay hyung, but wait. Before that... I just wanted to talk to you guys." "Go on leader."
"So....now it looks like we are a perfect team. So I was thinking we should debut soon! What do you all say?"

"Oh my god! I'm so ready!!" Wooyoung started dancing. San joined him.
"We will work hard!" Yunho seemed excited too.

"This is great Hong!" I joined them in their little celebration. "So it means we have to write songs first right?" Jongho sometimes gets serious.

"Ah yes, about that. Tomorrow we all have to write one song. Then at the end of the day, we will review everyone's lyrics and improve them together!"

"Okayyyy, now it feels like we are really a boy band. YESSS" Mingi started swinging his hands in the sir enthusiastically.

"What will be our concept though?" Yeosang asked. Right! How can we just forget about that!?

"Since this will be our debut album, we will take a strong concept which will show our future journey and plans. Let's show the world our power. It will be powerful!! Atleast this is what I want our first album to be... You guys can suggest too." Hongjoong's eyes were literally sparkling.

"I love this! What a perfect concept for our debut!" Jongho screamed. Everyone agreed in unison.

"Let's do this!"
"Yeahhhhhh"
Everyone looked like they were already thinking about the lyrics.

"Alright, good night kiddos. Go to sleep now." I said waving them away.

"Good Night. Sleep well Seonghwa hyung!" Yeosang was smiling at me. His smile is so sweet. I smiled back.

"You don't want us to sleep well Yeosang?" San teased him.

Yeosang blushed. I was still smiling like an idiot.
