I fall to the ground with the large cat on top me. It opens its mouth as if to take my last breath away, but I think quickly and I pull my knees up to my chest, only to kick the wild cat back and away from me. I quickly grab the bow that I dropped and pull out an arrow. I take my aim and quickly remember all the skills and techniques I need. I take a deep breath and I close my eyes for a moment before opening them and seeing the cat about to lunge at me again. I watch it as it watches me. It goes to leap but stops when a scream echos through the room. I turn around to see Skye pinned down by a wolf. The wolf seems utterly unaware of the tiger and I's presence. I take my aim at the wolf and let go of the arrow. I feel the tension release but before it can go back to normal I pull out another arrow and shot the wolf again. I grab another arrow and turn around to shot the tiger. Before I can even take my aim the tiger pins me to the ground, knocking the bow out of my hand.
"Shit!" I yell and try to maneuver to get the giant cat off me.
I squirm and try to get out from under the cat. The cat brings up a paw and strikes me across the face. I scream in agony and anger fills me. I push with all my strength and before I know it I push the cat off me and jump onto its back. I wrap my left arm around its neck and hold it in place with my right to choke the cat. I roars and tries getting me off, but I stay on and I only let go when the cat falls to the ground and after a minute it of it not moving.
"Alex!" Skye screams my name.
I turn around to see 3 wolves circled around her. My eyes widen and I look for the bow I dropped again. I see it and instantly run for it. I get hit by a large body, almost the same height as me. I fall to the ground and groan in pain. I look up to see the three wolves surrounding me. I quickly stand to my feet and notice Skye defending herself fine.
"Skye," I call out her name and she turns towards my voice just in time to see the Wolf leap for her.
A wolf to my right snaps at me.
"Don't snap at me!" I order it.
Every wolf turns to me. Skye stares at me with fear and confusion. I stare back at her with the same emotions. The wolf that snapped at me sniffs my hand and nudges it. I move my hand away quickly and take a step back only for the wolf to snarl at something behind me.
"Test is over," a man says and when I look at him then back at the wolves their back in their cages.
I look at Skye to see her looking at me already. I smile slightly at her in relief and she blesses me with a small smile of her own.
"Your next test is tomorrow," the man says and walks to me. "Now leave, others need to train."
I nod and walk out the door, following Skye.

I sit down on the hill and admire the view. I watch as few cars drive through the streets. I sense Skye behind me and a smile creeps onto my face.
"Are you going to keep watching me or are you going to talk to me?" I ask turning my head slightly.
"How did you know I was here?" Skye asks and walks to me.
"I just knew it," I say and smile at her as she sits.
"You know," she starts, looking out to the horizon. "I thought I'd hate you... I thought I'd be able to kill you when I heard you are an angel... yet, here I am... sitting next to you... feeling a way I can't describe."
My smile drops and I frown.
"You wanted to kill me?" I ask, pain evident in my voice as it breaks.
"Yes-..." she looks at me realising what she just said. "No! That's not-..."
"You barely know me! And you want to kill me!" I yell standing up.
"No! Alex!"
"Don't call me Alex!"
"Why?"
"Because only people who I trust call me Alex. People who don't want to kill me."
"Alexander... please, let me-..."
"Why?"
"What?"
"Why? Why did you want to kill me?" My voice wobbles as tears prick my eyes.
"Because I was raised to hate angels... angels are the reason why my mother is dead."
"That wasn't my fault though..." I step away from her, "and to think that I might feel love for once in fucked up life..."
"Alexander... please... don't..."
"You're the reason why I feel the way I do... you have this affect on me and I hate it!"
"Alexander..."
"What is it you do?" I ask and step up to her so I'm inches away.
"What is it that you do to me Alexander King?" She asks as tears fall down her face. "My head is a war zone because of you... I'm scared of trusting you, yet I want you... so, Alexander King tell me... why do you make me feel this way?"
"Skye!" Jason's voice booms. "What did I tell you about this boy!"
"Dad..." she says and looks at him then back at me. "It's not what it looks like."
"It's okay," I say and start to walk away. "I was just leaving."
I stop before walking past Jason and I look over my shoulder. "Goodbye Skye."
I walk away only to go behind a tree and start to cry. What is happening with me.
"You can't stop this dad!" I hear Skye yell and I tune in on the conversation.
"Yes I can and I will!" Jason yells back.
"The prophecy is already in process Jason," I hear Hayden butt in. "They are all ready relying on each other and they know there is a connection."
"Dad..." Skye says, fear evident in her voice. "What's happening to me?"
