" You must not be Princess Belle then?"
" No, my name is Beverley." I shrugged, feeling as I let them down.
We all sat in silence, waiting for the fairies to reply. But they didn't, they just stayed elevated in air in shock.
" What happen before you went into the portal?" Finally asked the red fairy.
" Well someone had called me so I left the school and walked into the forest to hear better. I was speaking to a woman, but she would say completely random things like you need to return to me, come back! and creepy comments like that." Scarlett started explaining. None of us have actually heard the story of what happen to her yet either, so we all listened intently. " So when I was in the forest, I kept seeing a hooded figure so I kept running but it eventually attacked me and dragged me deeper into the forest. She had the clear figure of a woman, bu she disapeared... But I had the strong feeling that she hadn't really left. I eventually heard my friends, but before they could get close to me, she returned adn forced me to bite an apple, which was really gross tasting by the way."
" Well duh, it was obviously poisionous." Chirped Camilla.
" Be nice girls! You obviously aren't the princesses... They never fought." Said the green fairy.
" What colour was the portal?" Asked the red fairy, quickly changing the topic.
" It was dark purple." Answered Accalia.
" I saw some green in it too." Added Ariana.
I kept my eyes on the red fairy, hoping she would be able to provide us with a logical explaination behind this, but obviously none of this was logical at all.
" I think I know who it is." The red fairy's voice sudden dropped to a whisper, so we all leaned in to be able to hear her.
" Who?" We all asked in chorus.
" This isn't the time or place for me to tell you, " she started, glancing around the room " I need to look further into it. I'll get a message out to you as soon as possible that will explain everything." Said the red fairy.
" What do we do until then? I don't know how to be a princess!" Complained Rebekah.
" I think we can help with that... with a little bit of magic!" Exclaimed the blue fairy, who suddenly got filled with happiness.
" No. Not magic." Said Accalia.
" Don't worry, this magic is good and safe!"
Without another word, they all started waving their wands. They started flying in circles around all of our heads. Sparkles of pink, blue and green floated on and around us. We all started giggling and stared around ourselves in amazement.
" I grant you all the wish of elegance, the first requirement of all princessess." Said the blue fairy, as a big burst of blue magic sparkles came from her wand, landing on our heads. I felt suddenly royal, and straightened my back, since slouching was rude.
" I grant you all the wish of knowledge, how to be a princess and the knowledge of everyone in your kingdom. " Said the green fairy and a burst of green came from her wand.
Adam.
Who? That name immediately filled my head.
" And finally I grant you all with the wish of a warrior. Strength, stamina and skill, I have a feeling you are going to require these traits some day soon." A burst of pink came as the red fairy spoke.
A sudden feeling of strength shortly filled me. Not just on the outside, but on the inside as well.
" Why is your magic pink if you wear red?" I asked Flora, since I suddenly knew her name.
" Ah curiousity will never leave your side child, will it? I wear red but my favourite colour is pink." Smirked Flora. She had brown eyes and grey hair, obviously the eldest of the three fairies. Fauna was the green fairy, with brown eyes and brownish/grey hair. Merryweather was the blue fairy and the youngest too. She had blue eyes and black hair. She was evidently the most stubborn by the way she constantly had her arms crossed.
" Well my ladies, it was a pleasure to meet you, we will be in touch!" Smiled Fauna.
" Remember, stay safe and try to act normal until we figure this out." Flora reminded us.
With that, the fairies quickly fluttered out the open window, leaving no evidence of their appearance other then the trail of colourful sparkles behind them.
