Welp I'm a bit of a bookworm, but I have less books, but I wanted to havemore books
But meh I'm broke

(Y/N)'s POV

It was a beautiful cloudy day to stroll down the streets, as I make my way to my favorite bookshop, to purchase another new freshly golden pages waiting to be discovered by me

(I wish I could really have the money to buy all the books I wanted, but mom won't buy me :(( but I'm contented with what I've got)

As I entered the bookshop, I noticed that it was only me and the old man, as he sees me, he gently smiles at me, making his face curve up with happy wrinkles too

"Goodmorning Mr. Joe, just came buy to buy another new book, what's new?" I asked as I roamed around the bookshop

"Oh I'm afraid that our new books might be delayed today, maybe tomorrow it will be delivered here, I'll make sure my wife gets you a reservation" He said and smiles

"That's okay, I can come back tomorrow anyways, I'll buy this then" I said getting a random book that has my type of genre

"Still (Y/T/G)? I can already tell that your room is already filled with books that has this type of genre" He said and  takes the book

"What can I say? I love something like that, it excites me so much, that it makes me feel so engrossed with the story" I said, my eyes glistening with wonder

"Well if you like it so much, I'll give this  to you for free, I know my wife will say yes too for you" He said and hands me the book

"Really?! Thank you so much Mr. Joe! Also tell Mrs. Sailor my thanks!" I said and huuged the old man as he gives me a pat in the back

I pulled away and walks towards the door as I looked back again and wave one last time and opened the door as I take my leave

*Timeskip to morning, cuz it will be that long if we put the walking home scene y'all XD*

I excitedly made my way towards the shop I always look forward to the most, as I opened the door I was greeted by none other than Mrs. Sailor herself

"(Y/N)! It's so nice to see you again!" Mrs. Sailor said as she hugged me and pulled away and saw Mr. Joe at the counter

"Goodmorning Mrs. And Mr. Joe! I'm here for the new books!" I said

"Oh, there at the New shelf collections, you know where to find them" She said and winked as I laughed, despite being old they managed to be like a teen

I walked around the bookshop, looking for a shelf that says New Arrival at top, as I found it, it has been filled with new books, some of them having my type of book, I was about to check a book when the bell of the door has been ringed, meaning someone entered the bookshop

'Must be a newcomer, meh'

I pulled out the book that I have been eyeing the whole time, but I can hear voices from the counter

"Goodmorning Mrs. Sailor! Where's Mr. Joe? Did you got a new arrivals?" some voice said

"Oh he's at the back arranging the new stack of collections, and the new arrivals is at the left, you might meet someone there" Mrs. Sailor said as I hear her giggles, oh she can giggle alright

I stopped hearing their conversations, as I find another book, I might as well buy two new books and add them to my shelf, of coyrse it has to be (Y/T/G)

"Hey, do you come here often?" a voice suddenly said, making me snap my head towards it

"Oh, um yeah?" I said unsure, but I sure do come here though

"Guess I never noticed you, but now I do" He said and smiled

"I'm (C/N), nice too meet you" He said and holds out a hand and I shook it

"(Y/N), same here" I said and smiled

"So (Y/N), do you like books?" He said and looked over me, I guess he's looking at the new arrivals, so I step aside, giving him a better look

"Well, what do you think?" I said holding up the two books I ought to buy

"You're into (Y/T/G) too?! Awesome me too!" He said and took one book

"Is it a bad thing?" I said chuckling

"No, not really, it's been long since I found a person into (Y/T/G)" He said as we walk towards the counter

"Well know you do" I said as we saw Mrs. Sailor and Mr. Joe at the counter, smiling or more like smirking

"Well would you look at that love? They know each other now" Mr. Joe said kissing the temple of Mrs. Sailod

"I'm happy, that you two have finally met" Mrs. Sailor said

"Oookaay, is it wrong if I didn't meet (C/N) here?" I said chuckling

"Of course it do sweetie! You two are the only ones here that comes here often, but with different times" She explained

"So that's why you aren't that familiar" (C/N) said smiling at me

"Me neither" I smiled back

"Awwww, look at them" Mrs. Sailor said squealing like a teenage girl

I felt my blood rush to my cheek so does he so we quickly look away at each other

"You remind us of our first meeting, and how we fell in love" Mr. Joe said, putting an arm at Mrs. Sailor

"Oh no, that story again" (C/N) said chuckling

"Silly old (C/N), I guess it's a story from another time then, is that all your buying?"
Mrs. Sailor asked

"Yes" (C/N) and I said, as we both paid for our books

"Well, I'll be going now Mr. Joe, Mrs. Sailor and (C/N)" I said and smiled at them when (C/N) rushed to me

"I'll come with you" He said

"Okay"

"Have fun you two" Mr. Joe said wiggling his eyebrows

I playfully rolled my eyes, and (C/N) opened the door for us

"Ladies first" He said, eyes twinkling

"My, what a gentleman you are" I said shaking my head

"I'll be going that way, you?" I said pointing at my way home

"Uhm, are you free?" He suddenly asks, fiddling with his thumb

"Uh yeah, why?"

"Will you go to the cafe with me?" He asked, looking flustered which actually looks adorable

"Like a date?" I said can't contain my smile

"Yeah, like a date" He said, finally looking at my eyes and smiled back

"Okay"
