When Hiccup went back the next day he saw Merida and Astrid sleeping. He woke them up, because he had to talk to Merida.
"Merida... MERIDA!"
"What Hiccup."
"There is a man wondering around town asking if anybody has seen you. He said that he was a King."
Merida was in shock she knew it had to be her dad, but she didn't want to leave Berk. For once she was finally free, if she went back life would be even more strict, she might even loose Angus.
"Hiccup, Astrid if either of you run into him again don't tell him anything and make sure that nobody ever follows either of you."
"But wait, Merida, who is he?" Hiccup asked.
"My Dad. "
" Wait that would make you a..."
"Princess. " Astrid interrupted.
Hiccup all of a sudden saw Merida in a new light. How could she be a princess? He thought to himself. Ruffnut would be a princess before Merida.
"You need a dragon." Hiccup mumbled
"What?" both Astrid and Merida looked back.
" You need a dragon. Both of you." Hiccup said more certain of his thought.
" Where are we supposed to get dragons Hiccup? We can't get them from school." Astrid blurted.
"We find them, we fly."
