Imagine a world where trust is everything, where loyalty is the foundation of every relationship. Now, what if the one person you believed in turns out to be the very one who shatters that trust?
This story is about a woman who was once CID's finest...
Previously: After discovering her brother had killed Mayank to save her, Shreya resigned from CID on the spot, cut all contact, and vanished — leaving the team behind with nothing but a locked flat and a mystery neither Rahul nor anyone else could explain.
Four years had passed since that night in the parking garage. Time in the bureau had settled into a new shape — the same desks, mostly the same faces, but a silence around one name that nobody quite dared to break. Now, unexpectedly, that silence had cracked wide open — because Shreya was back in custody, and this time, the evidence pointed somewhere far darker than any of them wanted to believe.
The bureau had the ordinary hum of a Tuesday morning — phones ringing somewhere down the corridor, the smell of chai drifting in from the pantry. Abhijeet leaned against his desk, arms crossed, catching the others up.
Abhijeet: "Aur doosre din humein pata chala ki DCP Chitrole ne istifa de diya hai. Aur unki jagah koi aur DCP aaya hai, jiska naam Manish hai. Wo aaye bhi the humse milne, usi din shaam ko bureau mein."

Pankaj: "Aur Manish sir achhe bhi hain. Sirf apne kaam se kaam rakhte hain — kisi ki personal life ke baare mein na jaante hain, na dakhal dete hain. Is waqt to Australia mein hain, koi case solve karne gaye hain."
Poorvi: "Haan, aur koi bhi minor-major decision ho, hum sabki raay zaroor lete hain. Unko sirf case ki report chahiye hoti hai — beech mein interfere kabhi nahi karte. Emergency situation mein to humein khud decision lene ka right bhi de rakha hai."
Dr. Salunkhe: "Aur DCP Chitrole ki tarah bilkul bhi nahi hai — ki kisi officer par ilzaam lage aur wo bas use suspend karne ke chakkar mein lag jaaye."
ACP Pradyuman: "Haan, ye to hai."
Daya sat a little apart, lost somewhere in his own head. ACP's voice cut through it.
ACP Pradyuman: "Achha, ye sab chhodo. Poorvi, maine tumse kuchh kaha tha — kiya tumne? Shreya ke stuff check kiye?"
Poorvi: "Yes sir. Shreya ke paas se sirf ek mobile mila hai, aur wallet, aur ek handkerchief. Bas."
ACP Pradyuman: "Aur mobile mein kya mila, check kiya?"
