"Josh?"

Tyler called.

"Josh..."

Nothing.

"Josh!"

Still nothing.

"Joshua!"

Tyler slammed the table next to him, making Josh jump a little bit as he removed his headphones.

"Sorry... I think the music was way too loud."

Josh said as he went to sit next to Tyler. Both of them were in the treehouse, they had homework to do, so after they got out of the café they thought that going to the treehouse was a good idea.

Though, Josh finished his homework like an hour ago, and Tyler didn't want help, so Josh grabbed his headphones and sat on one of the couches the treehouse had, as far away he could of Tyler so he could listen to Blink-182 without annoying his friend.

"You think?" Tyler said with a smile on his face.

"Yeah, I guess. Anyway, what's wrong?"

"I finished my homework and I don't know what to do."

"Oh, you did? Awesome! And... I don't know either, what do you wanna do?"

"I guess I just want to take a break...school sucks."

"Yeah, I know. Oh! Wait, I forgot something." Josh said as he grabbed his backpack, he opened it and started searching for something, when he found it, he smiled widely and got it out "happy birthday!"

Tyler gasped "Josh! You didn't have to..." he took the book in his hands and admired it, he's been asking his parents for that book for so long, yet they didn't want to buy it since they thought it was really expenisve.

"Yes I did, your birthday was like three days ago and I had to give you something."

"But... wasn't this expensive? I mean, I can give you the money back if you want to..."

"No, no, Ty. I don't need your money, I wanted to give you something for your birthday... and, yeah, it was a little bit too much expensive... but you don't have to worry for that, after all, money is something you waste on something you want right?" Josh grabbed Tyler's shoulders, making him look his best friend in the eyes.

"Yeah..." Tyler said looking down at his gift.

"And what do I want?" He said trying to make eye contact with Tyler.

"See me happy?" Tyler glanced at Josh, he was making a problem out of a gift his 'best friend' gave him and it made Josh feel bad, making Tyler feel bad as well.

"Of course I do." Josh hugged Tyler, making both of them feel better, well, Josh felt better, Tyler still felt bad for not accepting something Josh wanted to give him.

Why do I always have to make everything worse?

"You're the best person in the word, Josh, thank you."

Josh smiled.

"Don't thank me, I don't want the best friend and person in the whole universe apologizing for something so small."

Oh, no.

Did you hear that?

He called you his best friend.

How sad.

You know why you're only that to him, right?

Let me give you a hint.

Because you're a freak.

A/N: I'm so, so, so sorry for not uploading anything before, writing something that makes at least a little bit of sense is hard for me, and having Spanish as my first language isn't helping, let alone my bad grades at school.
I just want you all to know that I'm trying, and as always please let me know if I made any mistake along with the right way to write it. I get confused very easily so don't be surprised if you find too many mistakes.
