Mitchell did not see the small Cullen girl for the rest of the day, and it started pouring once the two entered the school. She had skipped the Latin class the two were in. The only other supernatural being besides himself in the room was Alice Cullen.

Mitch wasn't much paying attention to the class, he couldn't focus with his mind being somewhere far away. This made Alice very curious about the castor and the relationship with her sister, Charlotte. Mitch almost seemed... worried about the blonde after their time that was spent together earlier that day.

Once the bell rung, Mitch wasted no time in clearing out of the classroom, practically scrambling out to the hallway. He kept glancing at his phone, looking, hoping for a text from the smallest vampire, explaining where her whereabouts were. They had exchanged numbers after they returned from their time in the woods. But why did he even care? He shouldn't! Charlotte was a vampire, an enemy to his own kind.

Forcing himself, he found his way to texting Cameron instead, to get his mind off Lottie. Perhaps he was using her, but Mitch couldn't help it. He refused to let himself fall or even begin to let himself like being around vampires. But the thought of vampires reminded him that Edward was talking to his baby sister. It brought anxiety and fear course though him. He just wanted to get out of the class and grab his sister and kill that stupid creature.

Mitch couldn't scramble out of the room fast enough to his sister. When the castor rounded the corner, he saw the two lab partners chatting away in front of Bella's locker. Edward caught sight of him and quickly looked to Bella, giving her an excuse about his eye color, only to turn away in a rush.

Isabella thought the exchange was very weird, and turned to find her brother suddenly beside her. "Shit! Mitch you can't just sneak up on me like that. Make yourself known."

"Hey, did you tell Dad about how I disappeared?" Mitch frowned at the twin, causing her to cringe.

"Not on purpose! He called before lunch and was asking how our day was going, and if he could talk to you, and I got nervous and spilled that I haven't seen you since we walked in this morning. Where have you been anyway?" Bella turned the conversation on her brother, wanting someone to give her some straight answers for once!

"I was hanging out. I just didn't feel like going to classes today." Mitch shrugged off, not satisfying his sister's need to know everything. "Why was Cullen talking to you? Did you tell him off for being a dick?"

"Not really..? I-I didn't know what to say I guess."

"So you chickened out?" Mitch teased, causing Bella to blush a light pink, and roll her eyes. "Look after Spanish, just meet me by the truck, I got stuff to do after school."
