"Hey, Mitchie," Cameron smiled on the other end of the phone, she felt her cheeks warm just speaking to him.

"Cam," hummed Mitch, glad to hear her voice after all the madness of his life. He wasn't going to lie, Cameron had become a very big constant as opposed to Charlotte and her family's crazy antics.
"How are you doing? I heard what happened yesterday at your school with Bella." Cameron asked, laying down on her bed, on top of her multicolored comforter, her dark hair splayed about.
"You heard about that?" Mitch asked, his forehead crinkled a bit in confusion.
"It's a small town, Mitchie. Even at the Reserve we hear the town gossip." Cameron giggles from the other line. She was nervously chewing on her thumbnail, wanting nothing more than to ask him the question she's been dying to ask for days.
"Right, well Bella is fine, but sometimes I forget I'm not in Arizona anymore, Toto," the boy chuckles, referring to the movie Wizard of Oz. It was odd for him to do that, honestly. Rosalie referred to him as Oz, the wizard who watches over the magical kingdom, and he found himself hating that he was getting close with them. Rolling his eyes, he pushes the thought of the Cullens out of his head.
Cameron smiles, letting out a little snort before blushing a deep red. She thanked God Mitch couldn't see her, but hearing him chuckle made her blush even worse. "Sorry."
"Don't apologize, it was cute." Mitch hums, a smile on his face.
"C-Cute?" Cameron stutters, her cheeks hurt from the big smile on her face. It was now Mitch's turn to blush, his cheeks were hot, and he cursed himself for letting that slip, but he wasn't going to lie to her. He found her extremely attractive and cute. Cameron captured his attention on her constantly. He looked at her like a little sister for a long time, but now that he's back in town, he's seen her in a different light.
"Yeah, I uh.. I wanted to actually talk to you about this. I find you very.. attractive, honestly. I didn't want to tell you because-"
"I didn't know if you felt the same." They both spoke simultaneously. Both teens break out into smiles, relief washed over the both of them, amazed that their feelings were the same for the other.
