Do You Trust Me? (Dipper X Reader)

The Pool

Dipper and I were sitting on the yellow chair in the living room together watching TV miserably. It was SUPER hot that day and there was nothing to do. A commercial popped up on the TV.

"It's the hottest day of the year in Gravity Falls again! Apparently even hotter than last year!" The TV announcer said.

Dipper and I groaned.

"Is there, like, a pool in Gravity Falls or something?" I asked.

"Yeah, but we kinda got banned after causing a bunch of chaos..." Dipper said and I giggled.

"Oh no, what did you do?"

"Well... Wendy took too many snacks from the snack bar, Soos 'set a bunch of inflatables free', Mabel stole a cooler to save a merman who was perpetually stuck in the pool, our Grunkle Stan was messing with this kid, Gideon, and I was failing to prevent it all."

I laughed and saw (N/N) and Tyrone walk into the living room.

"Woah, what's your guys' problem?" Tyrone raised an eyebrow. Dipper pointed to the TV. "Hottest day of the year, huh? Didn't even notice..."

"Why don't you guys go to the pool?" (N/N) asked.

"We were banned last year." Dipper stated bluntly.

"Still? After you guys saved the town?"

Dipper shrugged. "Well, we haven't really seen Mr. Poolcheck in a while. Maybe he will be a bit more lenient after we saved Gravity Falls... Come on, (Y/N)! We gotta get ready!"

"You guys have fun with that... (N/N) and I'll stay..."

I nod to them as Dipper dragged me to his room. Mabel was sitting on her bed fanning herself with her hands.

"Mabel! Wanna go to the pool with (Y/N) and I?"

"Weren't we banned or something?"

"They can't keep you two banned if you saved the whole town, right?" I said, smiling wide at Mabel.

She gasped. "Yeah! Let me get ready!"

Dipper and I went around and invited Melody, Soos, and Wendy. I got my (F/C) swimsuit on and packed some other necessities. We all got into Soos' truck and drove to the pool. We were about to walk in but stopped dead in our tracks when we heard a man yell.

"PINES!" I assumed it was the infamous Mr. Poolcheck.

"Uh oh..." Everyone said in unison.

"You are all still banned! Uh, except for these girls..." He pointed to Melody and I. "They haven't done anything... yet..."

"Um... Mr. Poolcheck... They did save the town a while ago... Don't you think they deserve a little fun?" I said and tilted my head.

"No! I banned them for a reason and I will not go back on that! Now, out!" He pushed Mabel, Dipper, Wendy, and Soos out of the pool area.

I looked around and got an idea. On the other side of the fence, I talked to the twins, Soos, and Wendy.

"Psst! Guys!" I whispered. "I have a plan!"

So I explained how I was going to distract Poolcheck, and Melody was going to sneak everyone in.

I left and walked up to him.

"Um, Mr. Poolcheck? Can you go unlock the supplies closet for me? I want to get an inflatable."

"Of course!"

He walked over to the closet and filed through his key ring. I glanced back to Melody and gave her a thumbs up and she led them all through the gate quietly.
