I layed in Dipper's bed peacefully, waiting to fall asleep. I seemed to be having trouble, however, so I decided to focus on a certain sound to see if it would help me feel drowsy.
I focused on the sound of the crickets chirping outside, but it got annoying too quickly. Then, I focused on Mabel's soft rambling, as she was sleep-talking a little, but it was too confusing to understand her words. Eventually, after tuning into about every sound that could be heard, I focused on Dipper's breathing. It was steady, and gentle, so it was fairly relaxing.
In...
And out...
In...
And out...
In...
And out...
Over and over again...
It was calming to hear someone I somewhat admire sleep peacefully... It was so calming, in fact, that I started matching my breathing to his.
In together...
And out together...
In together...
Out together...
Over... and over again...
I turned over on my side until I finally fell asleep while curled in a ball and hugging Dipper's blanket to my chest and breathing in the warm air around me.

-Dipper's POV-
I was left sitting on the roof. I knew I was dreaming, but it was peaceful and enjoyable. The stars were twinkling above me and I looked over to my side. (Y/N) was sitting and looking up at the stars wistfully. Half of her face was lit by the soft moonlight.
"Hey Dipper?" She smiled and said gently, still looking up at the stars.
"Yeah?"
"Do you have any more stories to tell me? I'd love to hear another."
"Oh, uh, sure... What do you want to hear about?"
"Hmm..." She thought for a moment and turned her head to face me. "Tell me about a time when you thought all hope was lost..." Her smile changed from sweet to sinister momentarily.
"What?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Go on... Everyone's had a time when they thought all hope was lost!" She giggled and blinked slowly, and when she opened her eyes, they were bright and golden with long, black pupils.
I gasped. "B-Bill?" I adjusted to move further away from her as my heart began beating faster.
"Ah..." She spoke in a voice that mimicked Bill's. "You caught me!" In a bright flash of light, the girl that was next to me turned into a triangle with one eye, then into a human with golden hair and an eye patch.
"What are you doing here, Bill?"
"Oh, nothing," he shrugged and adjusted his bowtie. "Just having a stroll through the mindscape!"
"Yeah right, what are you actually here for?"
"Heh! You see right through me kid!" He went transparent for some time, making only his one uncovered eye visible, then soon making that disappear too. After being invisible for a moment or two, he appeared behind me. "Boo!" He shouted and laughed after I got startled. "Oh, don't be such a coward, Pine Tree! Seriously, how could you pretect Flower Crown if you're scared of everything?"
