"Good news kids, we're throwing another party!"
"Oh boy." Dipper sighed and dropped his spoon into his empty cereal bowl. "Grunkle Stan, do we have to throw another party this summer?"
"Of course we do! Come on, who wouldn't want to party with your old man, Stan? For old times' sake."
Dipper stayed quiet as he stood up and placed his bowl in the sink. "I don't know... I guess I'm just kinda worried, considering what happened last time."
"Oh, come on Dipper," Mabel encouraged. "I'm sure this party will be fun!"
"Ugh," Dipper groaned while he sat back down at the table. "I can't even count how many times I've heard that before. Seriously, that's become you're catch phrase at this point."
I nudged Dipper playfully. "Man, you're grumpy today." After I laughed, I gave him a sympathetic look. "Seriously, what's up?"
"I think I'm just tired. I'm surprised you have so much energy."
"Here," Mabel smiled as she pushed a cup of Mabel Juice towards him. "That'll wake you up in no time."
Dipper narrowed his eyes at the bubbling, pink liquid. "Something tells me that's not a good idea."
"Whaaaaat?!" Mabel exclaimed. "Nonsense! Look! (Y/N) tried it and she's perfectly fine!"
I looked down at my hands and muttered, "My skin is crawling... but other than that I'm functional." Dipper gave Mabel an unenthusiastic expression in response.
"Whatever," Mabel brushed it off. "So Grunkle Stan, what supplies do we need for the party?"
Stan put a finger to his chin and thought as Ford walked through the door and sat in the chair next to me.
Ford listed supplies before Stan had the chance to, "Decorations and snacks first. Let's head to the store, then we can have some people decorate while others hand out invitations."
"Sounds like a plan," Dipper stated as he hopped up from his chair, grabbing my hand and pulling me to the front door with him. Stan, Ford, and Mabel followed closely behind, and we all piled into the car to go to the store.
Once we arrived, we walked in and split off a little, looking for different things. Ford and Mabel looked for decorations, Stan went to get groceries, and Dipper and I looked for snacks.
"Chipackerz, or Cheese Boodles?" Dipper asked to himself, holding up a bag and a box in front of him.
While he decided that, I left to the isle behind him to go pick up some sodas, probably Pitt Cola. Unfortunately, I turned the corner and didn't see someone standing there, so I bumped into them.
"Oh, sorry, I didn't see you th..." My voice trailed off once I realized who I bumped into. Uh oh...
"O-Oh, hi, (Y/N)." His blue sweater was all too familiar. "H-How are you?"
"I'm good, Will." His complexion looked less worried than usual, much more relaxed. I tried not to make it too obvious that I was uncomfortable.
"That's good. W-would you happen to h-have any free time... l-later today?"
"Uh... sorry... I'm pretty busy today. And all of this week..." My mind was racing, any excuse I could use would be worth using... hopefully.
"Oh, that's a b-bummer. You sure y-you can't clear up any t-time?"
"Yeah, packed schedule... sorry." I fidgeted with my fingers hoping for some way out of this... Then suddenly I felt someone grab my hand and intertwine their fingers with mine.
