"Cherry get up your ganna be late!" Dad yells I rush out of bed and brush my hair and teeth. Then I put on shorts and a blue T-shirt my normal outfit. I grab my black combat boots and rush down stairs. Dad was making pancakes. I grab my black jacket and put on my combat boots while dad puts pancakes on my plate.
I eat fast. I get out of my chair and kiss my mom and dad goodbye. I rush outside to the bus. I get on the bus and sit in the back alone. I don't talk the hole bus ride. When we arrive at school everyone rises and runs out of the bus. I'm the last one off I normally am. I walk to my first class English with Mrs.Aver. I sit in the back. Mrs.Aver starts the class as she normally starts a monday class with a "good morning class how was your weekend?" She never really wanted to know the answer.
She always picks the shy people to tell them how there weekend was. This time it was me. I said "uhm uhm uhm okay..." She glares at me and says "what did you do?" I stammer and try to say "go swimming with my aunt and uncle," but end up saying
"swimming ants." everyone laughs and Mrs.Aver picks someone els to share. I'm so embarrassed. I can't even lift my head up from my desk. I just lie there with my arms crossed and my head in between them. At the end of class Mrs.Aver walks up to me and says
"we need to work on your shyness you are a bright student but shy" I nod in agreement. I walk out of the room and bump into Ally.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" She says. I try saying
"it's okay," but as usual I can't get the words out. Ally just looks at me funny and leaves. I walk into my next class 10 minutes earlier then I normally do. I'm about 15 minutes early. Mr.Scuff-men looked at me surprised
"why are you were so early?" He asked
"Mrs.Aver said not to stay and help clean" I reply with a smile
"oh...makes sense!" He said I sit in the back and more people walk in. I daze off until Mr.Scuff-men asks me "Was Herod was beheaded or killed?" I stammer
"I-I-I-I don't know" Mr.Scuff-men says "Yes you do you were the only one who got an A+ on that test and that was in 3rd grade!" I whisper
"I'm sorry" Mr.Scuff-men's phone rings he picks it up.
"Cherry it's for you!" I stand up and take the phone.
"Hello?" I ask "hey honey! It's your mom she's in the hospital Aunt Emily and her got into a fight. Aunt Emily pushed her and she hit her head on the table and Aunt Emily picked up a chair and pushed it into your mother and she stopped breathing they don't think she's going to make it. The police are with Aunt Emily right now. I'm on my way to pick you up." I cry "ok I love you hurry!" Everyone is looking at me "what is it?" Mr.Scuff-men asks "it's my mouther she's in the hospital her and my aunt got in a fight my dads coming to pick me up" oh my gosh that's horrible!" He exclaimed. Dad shows up ten minutes later. My dad talks to the principal for a minute. Then we get into the car and start to drive we both start crying other then crying we drive in silence.
