I laid in bed, staring at the ceiling. I was remembering from when Cherry moved here, Scarrlets death, Austin's 'love', Me breaking up, then Justin... I've changed so much from then. But it's only been a few weeks.

*a light knock*
My dad walked in the room. He usually was either: at work, or reading the newspaper, or watching the news. I sat up.

He sat on my turquoise sheets, and looked around the room, then down to Cherrys Navy Blue sheets, bed. "You know," he said. "She's really nice. I like her as a daughter." I felt a small pain in my chest. My breathing got heavy. I never spent time with my dad, I said I loved him, gave him hugs, but never had a bond with him. "But the best daughter in the world," he took my hand. "Is you. You've changed so much, your kind, nice, gentle. Your growing up to be a young lady. And I wanna learn more about my OWN daughter and have a relationship with her." Tears were already falling down my cheeks.

All these years my father was working 24/7 and never had time, or didn't want to spend time, with me. "I wanna protect her," he continued. "Guide her. I already know about that kid Austin. And I wanna help you sweetheart." I wrapped my arms around him and started to cry a little. "I love you daddy." I said. "I love you too." He replied.

A few minutes later he left. I sat on my bed. I wonder what Justin's doing. It was a Friday and I could stay there for as long as I want I guess. I looked at the time '6:48'.

(To Justin) Me:Hi... You doing anything?

I waited for a few minutes. I cleaned up the room while I waited. Cherry was probably gonna sleepover at Ally's house so I won't have to worry about her. My phone buzzed.

Jusin: Nnaaahh come over

I smiled. I looked down at what I was wearing. They were my Pajamas: shorts, and a t-shirt. I shrugged, and went downstairs.

"Hey mom! I'm going to... Kalans house!" I didn't wanna tell her I was going to hangout with Justin, just in case she didn't want me to. She yelled from the kitchen that I could. Well I was going to see Kalan to but she was probably with Asher.

I ran down the street. I loved the fresh air and the sunset. I smiled, and giggled. As I turned to the next street I had lost my breath and slowed down. I never really have been down here before. The houses were nice, not big but not small. I looked at the bright colors. I stopped at an abandoned house. "It would be cute if someone fixed it up." I said aloud to myself. I imagined in my mind fixing the roof, then paint it, get new windows, plant a garden. It would've been cute. I smiled then kept on walking. I was passing by a brown house when I heard yelling. I stopped.

"YOU STOLE HER!!!" A loud male voice came from inside. "WHY?!?" Before I heard an answer the door opened. Austin walked out, his face red and mad. He slammed the door looking at the ground. Then his eyes slowly looked up at me.

I quickly turned and walked fast. He walked my direction. I freaked out and started to run. I don't know if he was running or just walking behind me but I didn't care. I ran with all my might to Kalans house. When I reached the door and knocked I turned around and saw no one. I must've looked like an idiot running scared.

"Hey." Justin's voice came from the open door. "What's wrong?" He asked looking at me. I must've had a scared look on my face. I quickly scanned the street then put a smile on my face. "Nothing." He still looked worried but shrugged and let me in. I heard a few voices upstairs. I looked at Justin. He smirked then looked ahead as we made our way up the stairs. I heard yelling and laughing.

As I walk into his room, his buds were over playing some games. "J-J-Justin you said you weren't doing anything?!?"

"Nah these guys are boring." He said.

"BORING!" Said one of them who's name I think was Luke.
"WE CAN MAKE THIS MUCH MORE EXCITING!" He said while looking at me. "She can play too." Justin looked at me and I smiled.

We played Clue for a bit. It was quite the battle and hard. A bunch of the boys would yell at each other and wrestle if someone cheated or looked at the others card. Finally a kid with black hair and green eyes named Norman won. All the boys tackled him and beat him up. I just laughed as he beat them up. A kid named Cody wanted to play truth or dare but in the end we decided not to and played Apples to Apples. Blake (he's a friend of mine at school) won. Of course, there was more fighting and yelling.

After awhile we were watching a movie (well the boys were arguing and wrestling) Kalan walked in yelling at them to be quiet. She looked at me and smiled. "Hey! Wanna come in my room?" I smiled and nodded. I haven't been able to hangout with my best friend in awhile. She was with Asher most the time, but I understand.

"So," she said. "How are you?" She asked while we sat on her purple comforter on her bed.
"I'm good. What about you?"

"I'm doing great!" She squealed. "My parents LOVE Asher, but I don't wanna take it to fast."

"Yeah same. I was never even ready with Austin. I don't wanna jump into relationships right away."

"Good." She said giving me a high five. "Wanna go get something to eat? I haven't eaten and we have like NO FOOD!" She laughed. "Well maybe I'm exaggerating." I laughed a bit and nodded my head.

Kalan got dressed in different clothes. While waiting I sat on her bed and grabbed my phone.

(To Cherry) Me: hey I'm at Kalans. Were going to go get something to eat. Wanna meet us there?

Cherry: YEEESS!! I'm starving!

I giggled. I could see her face and her pouty face while saying that.

Me: ok we're going to the Sonic near our house... Are you close by?

Cherry: YAY! Yeah were near there.

Me: ok meet ya there :)

I pulled my Glee hoody over my head. Kalan just walked out of the bathroom. "Cherry and Ally are meeting us there." I explained. She smiled. "Wanna ask the boys if they wanna come?" I asked. She nodded.

"HEY!!" I yelled over the noise. Everyone stopped what they were doing, except Blake was playing a video game. "Wanna go to Sonic with us?" I asked. They all said yes. "We wanna protect the girls." Said Cody grinning. "Nnaaahhh!"Luke said. "I just wanna go to the skating-" Justin cut him off. "LETS GO!"
