Bars and Melody - Love problems (pt. 1)

Bitterness

Karen was downstairs with Brooke, the queue seemed like it was endless...

Upstairs, Leo hugs Charlie again and feel something buzzing in Charlie's jacket pocket, Charlie get out of the hug and grab his phone:

Charlie: Hey sweetie! How are you?

Leo could imagine who Charlie was talking to, he was starting to get angry with that girl, and of course, he had a plan.

Charlie: I have to hang up now, I'll call you later.

Leondre: Finished already?

Charlie: Yes. Do you wanna eat something?

Leondre: Charlie, I came here for just one reason, you told me you wanted to explain yourself, and your 5 minutes are over, so you'd better rush.

Charlie: So can we please sit down?

Leondre: Sure.

Charlie: I have just a few things to say you.

Leondre: Go ahead.

Charlie: First of all, I'm sorry for what I told you in the plane. I really don't know what you're having to deal with.

Leondre: You didn't need to apologize, but that's ok.

Charlie: Second, I think it's gonna be hard to understand, but in the same time I wanna be with you, I'm afraid of losing my friends and being judged.

Leondre: I understand you, and that's why I told you to don't tell anyone.

Charlie: Uhh...about this...I told my mum.

Leondre: Charlie!

Charlie: I'm sorry but I had to.

Leondre: - deep breath - Okay. Anything else?

Charlie: I love you.

Leondre: So why don't you stay with me? Like a "vacation dating".

Charlie: Ann.

Leondre: Oh, the girl who's like 4.000 miles from here?

Charlie: Yes.

Leondre: Aren't you good at hiding things?

Charlie: Yes, but...

Leondre: The choice is yours.

Leo turned back, and went downstairs again. Charlie was there looking to all those people walking, trying to take one of the most important decisions of his life.

Charlie's phone rang, it was Leo's message.

Leondre: Come down here, we're leaving.

Charlie didn't answer.

Downstairs, Leo was talking to Karen and Brooke feel asleep in his mum's lap.

Karen: So, can we go?

Charlie: Sure.

Karen took the car's key, and they walked to the car. Charlie continued thoughtfully, he really didn't know what to expect from now and what he should choose, he loved Ann as much as he loved Leo, and he was trying his best not to confuse "friends love" with the "real love", but it was hard. He was tired, and decided to take his decision on the next day.

When they arrived, they don't even thought about dinning, they went straight to their room, but while waiting for the lift, Karen told them they were going to stay in different rooms while giving Charlie the door cards:

Karen: I think both of you are old enough to be in a separated room, and plus, I think you have some very serious problems to solve yourself.

Leondre: Thanks, Karen.

Charlie: Did you combined that in the airport?

Karen: Don't be silly, Charlie. It's not possible to do this kind of thing without a reservation.

Charlie was wary. The elevator finally arrived, Leo and Charlie went first and after Brooke and Karen, as she had to hold a bit of luggage. When the elevator started to move Charlie felt something touch his hand was the hand of Leo, Charlie looked at Leo's face for a few seconds and then grabbed Leo's hand. The elevator stopped, they wished Karen Brooke and a good night. Charlie looked at Leo, who was walking to his room and asked:

Charlie: What we do now?

Leo stops walking and stares at Charlie's smiling face, he now walks facing Charlie and makes a signal with the hand as who says "Come with me"; Charlie smiles and follows.
