I carried the smelly tuna sandwich on my tray. I got weird looks as I walked up the stairs and pushed the sandwich to the edge of my tray. Uggh it smelled revolting.
Who in there right mind would eat this?
I threw it at a trash can. It went straight into it. Score!
I made my way to room 216 and plopped down in the seat next to Ria. There was one other person in the room.
His dark black hair brushed the rim of his glasses that brought out his Singaporean features.
It was Tim.
I looked over to where Ria was happily munching on a piece of Marco's Pizza.
"They had pizza?!" I questioned a little to loudly.
Mrs. Evilyn gave me a stern look. I had a feeling that she was just about to throw a pencil at me. She came over and handed me ANOTHER slip.
Guidance Counselor
2:30 appointment
Reason: keeps on getting into trouble
Room: 312
I could feel fire running through my veins and my ears were close to steaming. My hands felt like they had just emerged from lava and I looked down at them.
There were orange sparks coming from them in the form of a lightning bolt. The bolt was violently thrashing around in the palm of my hand.
Not now! I told myself.
I closed the palm of my hand into a fist and the orange sparks died out.
Mrs. Evilyn was staring at us. Her grey eyes darted from the Tim, to Ria, to me. Constantly.
I ate my carrots in silence.

Ria and Tim got up with there trays and left the room to go to recess.
I was all alone.
With Mrs. Evilyn.
She walked over, tightening her coat sash. She piled a stack of class work on my desk with a thud and gazed at me with her cloudy grey eyes.
"I don't want a peep out of you. You don't want to mess with me." she hissed.
I can see her beautiful resemblance to a warthog.
She click-clacked her heels all the way to the door and turned on her heel, her blonde hair falling neatly on her right shoulder.
"Your little lightning bolts can't stop me, Degroff." she said.
She opened the door and walked out, leaving me completely alone in the classroom.
I did what anybody with a brain would do...
I ran.
***
She couldn't possibly know. She couldn't know about the Enchanter's Platform. Nothing. She couldn't I kept telling myself.
I stopped in my tracks realizing that I had been aimlessly running around tinge school. I took a deep breath and went out to recess.
***
"Abhijit!" I shouted.
They were all sitting under a tree silently laughing at the recess aid who kept on telling off kids for hiding in trash cans.
Abhijit's head turned towards me. I sat down next to him and caught my breath.
"Dude! What happened?" he asked.
I whispered in to his ear everything. How Mrs. Evelyn saw my aura. How the Enchanters Platform might be revealed.
How Ria might be in danger.
