"Congratulations participant. You have been chosen for Dynamis." an automated voice echoed throughout the room.
Dang it! I wanted her to be in Kismet with me. Then we could decide Abhijit's doom together.
Fun. Right?
She hadn't even been scratched, just like Nick 1 year ago. I had come back with a small gash in my arm, but it hurt a lot.
Now here I was, standing face to face. I hope she did not get big headed.
Dynamis is one of our most popular branches along with Stoicheon.Nick certainly looked happy.
"You have so many AMAZING things to see! There is the doom fall, the flying spell, the privileges. So much more. You might not have time! We better leave now!" he exclaimed already dragging her out of the room.
Now we had two Dynamis's in our group. Abhijit was Stoicheon. Tim was Metaforas.
I felt left out. I guess this is how Ria felt when we whispered and dust include her. But it was different then. We COULDN'T tell her.
But she could talk all she wanted.
I dropped the subject. It wasn't her fault. It wasn't anyones' fault.
"You want to go to 9th dimension?" Tim asked excitedly.
How could I say no. That would have to be my favorite place.
Tim closed his eyes and grabbed me and Abhijit. he held his hands out in front of him and moved them in a way you would use to zoom in on a touch screen.
When his hands moved a purple portal emerged.
I held my breath and took a step in.
I felt like I was falling. Falling in a place where there was no gravity.
My feet touched the floor and I had a headache.
There was a pink glow that came upon us through the cotton candy clouds and the bubble gum trees were completely still.
A little stiller than I remember.
"Suckin' to hard on your lollipop. Our love's gonna get you down." a song cheerfully recited through the fields.
Ughhhh. I hate this song! Why in the history of songs would they choose this one?!
I took some fallen cotton candy and stuffed it into my ears.
There now I couldn't hear.
I munched on the center of a gobstopper flower and crunching was the only thing I could hear.
I heard some muffled yells but ignored it, thinking it was Abhijit yelling at those pesky licorice birds again.
But it wasn't. Something grabbed at my hand and I was swept up into a tornado.
A familiar falling sensation overcame me and I bended my knees.
The tornado left me on the streets. A different dimension, I thought.
My first thought was I'm hungry. A hotdog immediately was placed in the palm of my hand.
Cool! Attack construct!
I looked over to where Tim was fiddling with a paper clip and Abhijit walked as if he was blind, but his eyes were open.
"What happened! Abhijit asked. "Why can't I feel anything?!"
A tornado zoomed by and I jumped. I jumped towards my doom.I was sent to another dimension.
What was that?
Where was I?
