The thirteenth dimension lived in peace. Nobody bickered. Nobody fought. Nobody had any reason to provoke violence. They were a smooth flow in the river bend right after the raging waterfalls.

One dark, and stormy day a gang of thirteen people ,who had decided this peace had to come to an end, brought terror upon the town.

For now, and forever the town lived in darkness as the tale of the thirteenth dimension affected the magic, and mortal world.

The gang's victory still prevails as their descendants control this dimension and are presently attempting to dominate others as the world falls to their feet.

I could hear the leaves rustle about 1/5 of a mile away and I feared they were gaining on us. I don't know anything about the thirteenth dimension powers of The Wolverinesso I don't know if they sensed our presence.

Each Magicae being has a sense or task that they specialize in and mine was hearing up to 3 miles away. I could set the limit of how far I want to hear in my head and channel into conversations.

Now I was hearing snapping twigs and loading guns. They knew about us. I should have never broken the under experienced Dynamis rule. Now Ria's life was in danger.

"Why are there so many people in black at the doom fall?" Ria questioned.

My heart stopped and I spun around. Nobody is there.

"What are you talking about?" I asked in bewilderment.

"Don't you see them? You have really heavily equipped forest rangers." She said, looking down at her nails.

Either she found out her specialty, or she hit her head a little harder than I thought in the ski lift.

"Ria, would you mind telling me what Abhijit is doing?"

"He is in your dorm rummaging around for your phone." She said.

"Was this yesterday or today?" I asked confidently. Yesterday I walked in on Abhijit in my dorm trying to ask a weird person out for me. THROUGH MY PHONE.

"Yesterday." she whispered mystically.

For the first time I noticed her eye color was green.

"The people have guns." she whispered again.

Her eyes formed a holographic image that looked as if it was scanning perimeters.

"Get down!" Ria shouted as a gun shot pierced the air.
