"Whoo hoo!" Nick shouted.
I watched from below as he attempted to master the Doom Fall. He was attached to a cord that was attached to a zip line. It plunged you up and down and through a forest. I had to run to keep up.
Finally it sloped and Nick's feet touched the ground. He undid the vest and turned towards me.
"Wanna try?" he asked.
"Sure." I said, hesitantly.
We ran to the elevator that took us to the canopy. My stomach churned as the elevator slowly left the ground.
The elevator shook and I stumbled into Nick.
"Yeahhh...You might wanna get used to the that." Nick stated.
What?
I found what Nick meant on the long trip up. The elevator shook, and grumbled. It took us so far above the emerald green trees that I felt that the next time it shook, we would fall through the bottom of it.
Finally we reached the platform. I stepped onto the cracking wooden floor. It creaked and I flinched, very time.
I slipped into the best and buckled it in the front. My palms were sweating and I balled them into fists.
"Ahhhhgg!" I screamed.
Nick had pushed me without notice. I was soaring through the air. The sky had never been more beautiful. I felt I could touch a cloud.
And I was terrified.
After about five minutes I had gotten used to the cold air and the sting. I stretched out my arms and kicked my legs.
I felt I could do anything.
I closed my eyes.

My feet skimmed the ground and I came to a stop. I unbuckled the vest.
Where was Nick?
I stood there for a while like a lost weirdo. After a while I scoured the woods for Nick. Was he hurt?
I heard some rustling in the bushes and I jumped behind a tree.
Maybe it was a bunny???
Someone tapped me on the shoulder and I spun around and screamed.
"Oh it's just you." I said.
"I think I'm deaf." Nick whimpered.
