Chapter 6

All of them were in kingdoms, fighting the monsters that came out of nowhere. Harry and Gil were the last ones to deal with their Kingdom which was Cinderellasburg. "Okay, mate, that one should be the last. Then we can finally get back to the castle." Harry told Gil before they began to run after the Makhai. They caught up to it and began to fight it. Both Harry and Jay dodged and parried attacks of the Makhai. Suddenly, a group of men on horseback came riding with spears and each ran it through the Makhai. Gil took the opportunity and decapitated the Makhai. "And who are you people?" Harry asks. "We are the city watch. We heard of these things so we came to help, plus to take down the last creature." The man in charge said looking over to a cave entrance. "Uh no, this was the last of the Makhai." Gil told him getting a confused look from the man. "Not these. These were nothing but soldiers from the devil himself. I'm talking about the snake woman." He tells them. Harry and Gil look at each other in confusion. "Come with us to help us and kill this thing." The man tells them and they agree.

They make it to the cave and see statues of people that looked in fear. "These are nice statues. Maybe the snake woman is a nice person who can help us." Gil said getting a smack on the head by Harry. "Greek monsters, snake women, statues. Have you not been paying attention or not?" Harry whispered to him. "Uh no I haven't. Wait. No wait. Medusa." Gil said finally getting the point. Harry gave him a look and a nod saying yes to him. "Come men. Let's kill this beast!" The man yells and they all start going in, Harry and Gil entering last. The cave was dark and deep and deep below there was lava bubbling and stone statues everywhere. "Guy's, I think we should go. Like now." Gil was telling them putting his bandanna over his eyes and Harry covering his eyes with his free hand. "No. We will find this beast and-" The leader said before being interrupted by a slither. All of the men looked around other than Harry and Gil who were covering their eyes. A scream was heard from the left side and when they all looked, they saw that the person who screamed had been turned to stone. Slowly, every man was dying be either getting shot with an arrow or turning to stone. Harry and Gil had to reveal their eyes so they can see where they were going and saw death around them. They had saw that they were the last two left and Harry came up with a plan. "Gil, you distract her and get her to look the other way of my direction." Gil nodded and ran away while Harry hid behind a pillar while Medusa was slithering towards Harry's direction. He saw her getting closer to him by using his hook and then saw he slither away when Gil yelled out to her. Harry pulled out his sword and ran her direction and as she turned, he closed his eyes and jumped of her tail swinging his sword chopping her head clean off. Harry opened his eyes and Gil came around the corner and looked down to see Medusa's head on the ground. Harry found a bag and put the head in there. "Come on. Let's head back. And quick." Harry said running out of the cave with Gil.

The pair finally arrive at the castle and headed to the main dining hall where everyone was at eating. Harry and Gil came in and Harry dropped the bag on the table. "Uh, Harry? What is that?" Uma asked him. "A head." He said plainly. "Oh I just lost my appetite." Audrey said. Mal came to open the bag before Harry grabbed her wrist and he shook his head. "Whose head is it?" Ben asked. "Medusa. No biggie." Gil said sitting down to eat some grapes. "What did you say?" Hades Jr asked getting up to get the bag. "Medusa. Yea, she was at some cave by Cinderellasburg." Gill told him. Hades Jr grabbed the bag  and felt it trying to feel the snakes and he did. "We brought back cause we thought it could help or just put it in a museum." Gil said. "In the stories, Perseus used Medusa's head to save Andromeda. Maybe we could use this in the future." Audrey said. "Alright then. So. Who's keeping it?" Uma said getting a no from everyone. "I'll keep it. I can keep watch of it and make sure nothing happens to it." Hades Jr said getting a 'What' from both Dizzy and Evie. "Alright. Good, now if you would excuse me, I lost my appetite and i'm sure you guys did too so i'm off to bed." Uma said walking out.

The Cave

Ares walked around  thinking of his plans. "You are ruining my view of that gold thing you are building. Tell me, what is it?" Maleficent asked and Ares stepped aside. "It's a tool to awake a great beast that will destroy every pathetic human on this planet. Especially revenge on my cousins." Ares told her. "I've been a lizard for years, I know how you feel. I'm especially angry at the fact that all these villains who I called friends are living peacefully along side this 'prince and princesses'. Perhaps I can think of something so they can help us along with your 'beast'." She tells him. "No wonder they called you the greatest villain. I'm thinking of something too. Something big." Ares said laughing and then Maleficent joined in the laughter.
