Chapter 8

Mal told everyone that she is pregnant and the whole room went wild. Hades Jr unfortunately couldn't be there since he was helping King Arthur's people with food and clothing. He came back to see a small party going on. Music, lights and streamers where being thrown and played and he saw that everyone was happy and dancing. He laughed and smiled at the sight of his friends. The night passed as they had fun all day.  Evie was dead asleep beside Hades Jr while instead of sleeping he was thinking of the dream he had. He wondered how and what did it had to do with Ares. In a sudden, he felt a rumble and then an earthquake which woke up Evie and the whole city. He ran outside with Evie behind him and saw the rest of them heading towards a terrace. Hades Jr moved to the front to see what was going on and they saw all the way in the ocean spurts of lava bursting out the ocean and slowly seeping onto land. "Oh my god." Jay said silently. Hades Jr on the other hand was getting angrier since they still cant find and don't know what Ares's plan is.

The next morning, everyone headed towards the homes near the coast so they can help them bring them in closer to land. Ben and Hades Jr was busy checking books and looking for a way to find Ares and see what is happening. "Has anyone seen Merlin!" Ben yells and his guards scatter to try and find Merlin. "There is nothing here, why is there nothing here!?" Hades Jr yells throwing a book. "Listen man I don't know but lets calm down. We will find out where Ares is." Ben assured him. Merlin on the other hand was deep in the woods at Snow Whites castle who has now been captured. "Hurt the world with these spawns, make them fierce and humans gone." Merlin chanted and used his magic to make the orcs in the courtyard bigger and more human like with sharp teeth and made their hunger grow for meat. He gave them iron armor and iron swords that looked like cleavers. "For the Orcs!" They started chanting like it was a war cry. Maleficent hid in the dark corner with an evil smile knowing one half of her plan went right.

 The next day, they all took breaks wherever they were. Some were still at the coasts helping people while others were dealing with even more Makhai. The Auradon Army had to step in and help since everything was getting out of control. Hades Jr and Ben were still trying to figure everything out at the castle until a guard ran in out of breath. "Sir, My king, you need to look off to the Summerlands!" The guard yelled making the both of them run out to the back of the castle. They saw all the trees in Summerlands being chopped down and in the middle of it a large black tower was being built up so high it's taller then the tallest tower in Ben's castle. "What in the world is this now?" Hades Jr said. "I don't know but it cant be nothing good. Send 5 men to check it out." Ben says and tells a guard. "Wait look closely. In the ground, green mist." Hades Jr says. "Maleficent." Ben said in a gasp. "Wait if that's her one, how did she escape and two, is she working with Ares?" He asked Ben who shrugged for both questions. "If she is working with Ares, this is not good at all. This time, we may actually be doomed." Hades Jr said solemnly.

At the tower, orcs were chopping down trees for fuel to make fires bigger in the caves they dug up to make more armor to give to the growing number of orcs. "Keep working! Soon we will march on the humans and nothing will stand in our way!" Maleficent screamed at them to keep working. Time passes and the orcs made progress. "Mistress, we've built the wall around the whole area. Nothing can get in." The Orc told her in a low raspy growly voice. "Good. Very good. You know what? You should be the general of the army." She tells the orc and the orc bows right before she raises her staff and makes him bigger and stronger with a fearsome look. She saw the orc follow unto him and place a white hand print on his face to signify his leadership. Maleficent looks on with a smile as he plan was going as planned.

Some orc's were going on patrol while some still chopped down trees. These orcs walking saw a small group of Auradon guards and they all decided to pull of their swords as they came closer. The guards started to get scared as they saw large packs of orcs running at them crazy. An orc pulled out a bow and shot one in the back as they ran. Another with his trying to plunge his sword in one of the orcs but the orc simply squeezed his head. Only two got away and the orcs came back. "Mistress. We caught guards trying to see what is happening here. They ran away." Maleficent looked at him and started to grow furious. "No, no, no, no! This is going to make them assemble an army and not let me finish my plans. You get everyone to form up and train. We are not letting these people ruin everything."
