Confuse.

3rd person POV - Jungkook.

The presentation went well for Jungkook. He nailed it and M company seems to be happy with him and his works. Until further discussion and document is being done, seems like the project with M company is already certain. Jungkook thank god that despite him being late due to his headache and stomachache, he still manage to pull it off.

After the discussion and the signing of documents, Jungkook finally has time to be alone as he is dreading to be alone right from the start. He takes a sit on his sofa and loosen his tie. He laid back and his head is hurting even more. Ever since Taehyung left, he hasnt had a good night sleep, he barely eats which leads to his headache.

There is still no sign of Taehyung, no word from him which truthfully, makes Jungkook nervous. He dont know where he is, or who he's with. Load of 'what ifs' flood his mind which make his head throb even more. But the worse thing he worry about is his father-in-law invitation for the celebration and his mother-in-law birthday celebration.

What should he do? Should he try to contact Taehyung? But if he calls him, will he answer? If he sent him a text, will he reply?

Jungkook doesnt want to admit it, but honestly, he is scared that Taehyung wont see him or answer his call. As his heart goes to a very dark possibility that Taehyung dont want to see him, his brain tries to be positive.

Its been 3 days since they fought and no document or calls from Taehyung's lawyer. So maybe, just maybe, Taehyung didnt mean it afterall. Maybe Taehyung need some time to cool down. Maybe, Taehyung is coming back. So he hold the thought of contacting him.

A knock on his door catch his attention and soon, Lisa walks in with 2 files. Lisa look at his Boss and immediately knew that Jungkook is not well. The air conditioner is working and yet Jungkook is sweating.

"Boss, these are the drafts for the new project" Lisa said.

"Sighh just put in on the table Lisa. Thank you" Jungkook reply her.

"Boss, are you feeling okay? You dont look well" Lisa said after putting the files on his table.

"I've been having headache and i dont have enough rest but im alright" Jungkook tries to reassure her. Lisa walks toward her boss and to Jungkook surprise, she put her hands on his forehead to check for his temperature.

"Its hot! Boss you have a fever. You should see a doctor" Lisa said. She is really worried about Jungkook. she had never seen Jungkook like this. Is this because of Taehyung? Because he left? She didnt know that Taehyung has this effect on Jungkook. Her heart ache and she can feel her heart breaking.

Meanwhile Jungkook just froze by his secretary's action. He was caught surprise but he doesnt know what to do, should he shrug her hands off? Should he let her? What should he do?

As both of them is in deep with each other thought, both of them were actually staring right into each other's eyes. Lisa saw the confusion and guilt in Jungkook's eye while Jungkook saw worry in Lisa's eyes, a genuine worry and pain? Was that pain just now? He could've swore he saw pain too.

Then somehow both of them was brought back to reality, and both of them came to their senses. Lisa pull her hand back from Jungkook's forehead and quickly apologise and Jungkook just clears his throat.

"You should see a doctor Boss or this will get worse. All the important meetings are already done" Lisa tries to convince him again. She still isnt used to seeing her boss being sick.

Jungkook thinks for awhile then he agree. Lisa then excuse herself and left the room. Jungkook rarely goes to the doctor. He doesnt feel the need to. With a good night sleep and good food, he'll feel better in no time, but now, he's lacking in both, he really feel weak and sluggish. He take a glimpse at his watch, its 1.43pm. He decided to go to the clinic.

Jungkook went inside his car then his phone rings. Its a call from his father-in-law. He answer it right away.

"Jungkook-ah, congratulation. I know you'd do well. Im proud of you" Taehyung's father congratulate him. Somehow news travel fast especially to the board of chairman.

"Thanks appa, im just doing my best. Thankfully they choose me above other company" Jungkook reply but his voice hoarse and this doesnt go unnoticed.

"Still coming to dinner tomorrow? You sound off" He continue. "Just a fever appa but im fine" Jungkook tries to sound as normal as he can.

"If you're unwell that we can post-pone the dinner to some other time when you feel better. It wont be a celebration if you're not feeling well" his father-in-law sounded concerned.

"I promise i'll get better soon and we'll celebrate omma's birthday" Jungkook feels guilty but he can no longer ignore the pain in his head. This time the fever is really get to him.

After ending the call and talking to his father-in-law, he decided to went to a clinic nearby their place. Just in case, maybe, he will bump into Taehyung. And so he went.
