WARNING! There are portrayals of cutting, read at your own risk!

It had been a week since Asami had met Korra, and things slowly returned back for the worst. The raven-haired girl was on her way to work with the same old glum face she's had after those lonely nights continuing to haunt her. As she pulled in and parked, Asami stared at her wrist. There were marks that looked recent, the raven-haired girl turned her wrist as if the marks didn't even exist. She just had to get through work and go back to her apartment... alone.

Time passed and Asami was staring at the clock still in her waitress apron. She had about one more hour until she able to leave. Another waitress came by and said "Hey you got a group at one of your tables."

"Okay, thanks." Asami responded. She went over and put on a smile and just kept thinking about going home. Her eyes widened and she started feeling anxious as her heart raced. IT WAS KORRA AND HER FRIENDS AT THE TABLE! The raven-haired girl stood frozen, then Korra turned over and saw Asami. The tanned girl smiled surprised and waved at her, Asami composed herself and made her way to them.

"Hey Asami! I didn't think you worked here." Korra happily exclaimed.

"Yeah... and it appears that I'll be serving you guys today." the raven-haired girl responded nervously. "Anyways, anything I can get you guys on drinks?"

The group ordered their drinks and their waitress came back. "Oh! I'm sorry, Asami, these are my friends Mako and Bolin." The two boys nodded to and greeted the waitress. They seemed friendly enough, especially if they're friends with Korra.

After a bit, Korra and her friends enjoyed their meal and felt satisfied. Their green-eyed waitress came back to handed them their check, as she did the tanned girl caught sight of marks on Asami's wrist. Korra had to hold in a gasp and was just in shock, Is she... cutting? The blue-eyed girl couldn't believe what she saw for a minute as the waitress left. She stared at her two friends, they returned her confused looks. "Did you guys see that?" Korra asked.

"See what?" Mako still confused about why his friend seemed worried all of a sudden.

"Yeah, besides you trying to eye a pretty waitress." Bolin tried to play off the uneasy atmosphere.

The tanned girl gave him a serious glare and he slowly sank in his seat. Although he was right about the raven-haired girl being pretty. Korra thought that maybe she was just imagining things, cause why would a girl so pretty do something like that?

The tanned girl tried to come to some common sense, "Nothing. I think I'm just imagining something..." Korra mumbled and took a breath.

The two guys looked at each other and back at their friend, is she doing okay? Mako decided to break the silence before it got any longer. He asked his tanned friend, "You sure everything is alright Korra?"

"Yeah, it's just I feel worried for Asami. I feel like she's in trouble."

"What makes you think that?" Bolin questioned curiously.

"I don't know but maybe I can talk to her and find out if she's okay."

Both boys looked at each other with slight grins then back at Korra, she seemed puzzled for a second at their reaction. "Ooo, looks like Korra just wants to get with Asami." Bolin joked with mako, they both giggled.

"Oh shut up, Bolin." The tanned girl folded her arms in retaliation, almost child like. Asami had come back and saw it, she thought Korra looked really cute when she's mad. Her face blushed a little while the tanned girl turned to her, she tried to hide her red face.

"I hope you guys enjoyed and have a great night." The waitress smiled genuinely towards the group.

"Hey Asami," Bolin caught her attention and turned to his tanned friend, "I think Korra has something to say to you." The tanned girl gave her friend a death glare but stopped as Asami faced her.

"Oh really? What is it?" the waitress asked, a little confused as what Korra would say.

The tan-skinned girl smiled nervously, trying not to seem awkward. "Well... I was wondering..." Korra was scratching the back of her head, "If you'd like to hang out with me."

Asami's eyes widened with surprise all over her face. She fought an upcoming blush from making her face any redder. She wants to hang out... with me?

At this point Korra was afraid she might've gotten off at the wrong foot. She started to worry and twiddled her fingers anxiously under the table.

"Uhh... sure, yeah we can hang out. When?" Asami's words caught the girl by surprise but she was relieved.

"Well when are you off?" Korra responded.

"Actually I'm off now since you guys were my last table." the waitress answered.

The tanned girl smiled and turned to Bolin, who gave her a you-owe-me wink.

"Oh actually I might've forgotten that I rode here with Mako and Bolin so I don't have a ride." Korra said.

"That's fine Korra, I have a car and I can drop you off if you need." the waitress said reassuringly. Korra felt relieved, she was gonna hang out with this porcelain beauty!

"Alright well, I guess I'll see you guys soon." The tanned girl waved off her friends as she left with Asami.

Both girls got into the car and the raven-haired girl started the car and started to pull off. She asked Korra, "So what did you have in mind for our hang-out?"

The tanned girl was thoughtful for a second and said, "Well I'm kinda just hoping to get to know you. Ever since we last met, I feel like we could be friends, you know?"

"Yeah I think I'd like to be friends too Korra." Asami smiled back at her. The raven-haired girl felt excited and happy, this woman just showed up and her spirits were immediately lifted. Is that even possible?
