Patrol that night had been a little too easy for Raph's tastes.

Aside from the occasional mugger - which they took turns handling to keep the boredom from killing them - there was nothing. The entire group was surprised about that considering the city was preparing for a festival that weekend and that meant more trouble makers.

"Dudes, this is so boring," Mikey whined after a half hour of doing nothing on the same rooftop.

"Maybe we should call it a night early," Leo agreed with a sigh, probably tired of everyone's whining, "Unless there's something on the scanner, Don?"

Donnie shook his head silently, pulling back one of the earpieces connected to the scanner, "Nothing the cops can't handle. I agree with Leo about- wait, I might have something."

"Let go of me! Let go of me you low-budget movie villain before I rip your arm off and shove it up your-"

Underneath his panic about not be able to save the girl, and obviously having missed the soldiers hovering around her, Raph had to appreciate her fire. It wasn't every day you'd come across someone who was willing to cuss out their kidnappers.

Tires screeched against the pavement just as the guys finished off their foes. Sprinting to the roof's edge, they caught sight of a black van and trailed it. They were so close to catching up-
