"Robin" Batman said, slight excitement entering his voice.
"What are you doing here?" Robin asked, though the answer was obvious.
"To save you."
"Of course, he leaves me, allows me to get arrested, doesn't return then I escape and you finally come after me?! Great timing, Bruce!"
Batman glared, "You told Nigma our identities?!"
"Why do you care, it's not like you cared about me when I was completely alone!"
"YOU KNEW I WAS BUSY!"
"YEAH, TOO BUSY TO HELP YOUR OWN PARTNER?"
"YOU COULD LOOK AFTER YOURSELF!"
"That's what you think... you don't know what it was like in there Bruce..." Robin whispered, referring to the Asylum. "And I didn't even do anything... w-why was I put in there..?"
"Robi-"
"No Bruce. I'm sick of this, I'm quitting."
"What?"
"I said I'm quitting, I give up, I don't want to be your partner or ward any longer-"
"Your being controlled, snap out of it" He said, throwing another Batarang at Edward who was struggling to get free.
"No I'm not!"
"Yes you are!" Batman said, running at Robin.
Robin immediately dodged but fell to the floor, his shoulder and waist hurting from the fight with Scarecrow from a few days ago. He winced as he got up but was immediately tackled to the ground.
"LET ME GO!!!" Robin screamed as he thrashd and struggled, desperately trying to get free.
"LET THE BOY GO!" Edward yelled, trying to get free, but he couldn't, and soon, the Bat and the Bird were gone.
In the Batmobile, Robin was sat in the passenger seat, his hands handcuffed behind his back. "Bruce please-"
"Shut up." Batman spat.
"But-"
"Silence. If I wanted tou to talk I'd say."
Robin glared at him. "I'm taking you to the Mannor-"
"I'M NOT GOING THERE, I HATE YOU! I DON'T WANT TO BE IN HERE, LET. ME. GO!" Robin screamed.
"Robi-"
"LET ME GO!"
"ROBIN!"
"SHUT UP!" He yelled as he kicked the door. "ROBIN STOP THAT!"
"NO"
"RICHARD, WHAT WOULD YOUR PARENTS SAY ABOUT THIS?!" Bruce asked/yelled, immediately regretting it.
Tears began to leak into Robins mask as he looked at Bruce angrily. "Don't you dare ever bring them into this." He spat.
"Dick- I-"
"Shut it Bruce. I don't give a danm. Just let me leave."
"I can't do that Richard."
"Please."
"No." Bruce said as they pulled up into the Batcave, he immediately got out then took Romin to a hand rail where he attatched his protégé and removed his boots, gloves and belt. "Stay there"
"Do I have a choice?" the boy asked.
"No." Batman said, then walked out. I'm not staying here. Stupid Bruce, trying to control me he thought, pulling on his handcuffs, he had used these before, he also knew how to break out of them, dispite his gloves, boots and belt being missing. he could still get out, for instance, there was a stack of papers, all paperclipped together, not to far out of his reach. If he grabbed them and took the paperclip, he could get out.
Robin managed to get it and successfully got the paperclip, he then began to work on the lock to his handcuffs. Soon, he was out of them, he quickly grabbed his belt, gloves and shoes and put them all on, then he began sneaking out the cave and into the manor. "Leaving so soon?" Bruce asked.
"Yes" Robin growled front flipping then cartwheeling into a handspring, after that he continued running and exited the mannor, Bruce ran into the cave to get changed, once he was Batman, he ran out and after Robin. His son.
