Robin stared at Batman from his place within the cell. Batman scowled, Robin and Riddler always overpowering his look. Robin already had a plan slowly forming within his mind, an escape could be difficult (okay really difficult, maybe impossible) with the Bat right there, but, of course this didn't stop the bird. He could get Riddler out easily, all it'd take would be a distraction, if he had a man at gunpo- no, he couldn't... could he? Sure, he wasn't exactly a hero anymore but he'd never threaten to kill, especially not to his legal father, though Dick had never ever caled him that. Bruce could never replace what the boy lost. Still, he could help- pull yourself together Grayson! He got you locked up! He's no father figure, let alone mentor! He told himself.

He needed to grt Edd and him out. Maybe the gunpoint thing would work, take a hostage... escape with him then somehow return him. Seemed simple enough, yeah, but how was he supposed to get out of his cell? He then had an idea, yes, a very bad idea but it'd work. He'd have to fake as much pain and sadness as possible. It'll hurt Bruce, but who cares, he hurt me first. Dick thought, then knew he'd have to try. At least try. He managed to get the tears to form in his sky blue eyes, trying hard to keep a look of dispare on his face. Tears fell from his eyes as he colapsed to his knees, this better work... Tears poured from his eyes like waterfalls, "I'm sorry, I-I'm so sorry" he cried, looking up at Batman. Take the bait...

Batman looked down at the boy sadly, "Bagman please" he sobbed, "I-I can't stay here!"

Betrayal was written across Riddlers face, the boy was going back to the Bat then. Maybe it was all finially too much for him? Perhaps this was what was best? Was the boy weaker than the Edward Nigma had assumed? Perhaps.

The boy cried harder, resting his head on the strong, plastic wall that was sepperating him from Bruce. "I-I can't do it... I can't s-stay here... please Bruce... I want to go home" he whispered

Of course the boy had to go off and betray him! Edward looked at Dick, pity in his eyes, poor kid... maybe Edward had made a mistake by allowing him to stay with him...

Batman sighed, opening the door cautiously, he walked to Dick, Dick let a few more tears fall. 5 Bruce came closer. 4 Dick looked at the gap beteween Bruces legs, he'd easily slip through. 3 Edward looked down feeling... betrayal, how yould the boy do this? 2 The guard eyed the Bat and Bird cautiously, his gun in his belt close to his fingers. 1 All eyes widened as the small acrobat rolled through the Bats legs and out the door, flipping over the guard and stealing his gun whilst still in mid air. He landed gracefully behind him, immediately pressing the weapon to the mans head. "N-no please! I-I have a family, a wife and t-two beautiful daughters! Please don't shoot! Th-they need me!" He begged. Edward couldn't stop the smirk from appearing on his face. Of course the boy would never betray him, he wanted a father who could actually show emotion rather than being a deperessed 30-40 year old who had a unhealthy obsession with dressing in black, pretending to be a bat and beating the sanity out of criminals, all with the same emount of emotion as a rock. Like a male darker version of Kristen Stewart basically. Edward smirked a bit more at the thought.

"Robin!" Batman yelled, "Let him go!"

"Let Riddler free!"

"No-"

"NOW!" The teen yelled. Batman cautiously opened the Riddlers cell, "thankyou, Dark Knight" he smiled, but was grabbed by Batman. "Let the man go or Riddler gets it."

"No."

"Robin." Batman warned.

"No, let him go first!"

"Put. Him. Down."

"FINE!" He yelled, going to release the man but having a gunshot fire behind him, other guards. Unfortunately, that gunshot, which sent a bullet wizzing past the boys head, unsurprisingly shocked him, causing him to flinch, and accidentally pull the trigger. The second gunshot had fired, this one was from the boys hand. The bullet going straight into the mans head, killing him. Robins eyes widened in fear and he began shaking uncontrollably. Everybodys eyes were wide, but none as wide as Robins, the mans blood, the man that he'd killed, began to cover his prizon jumpsuit. The red seeping into the fabric. "N-no... no..." he whispered, Edward looked at him, shock, sympathy and worry on his face, unlike Batman, who had anger, fear and pity.

"I-it was an accident..." he whispered.

Edward nodded but Batman ignored him, glaring at the boy who was moved to another cell by the guards. This time he put up no fight. His face still frozen in shock, his body shaking. He was a murderer now. Now there was absolutely no going back. This time they'd be no second chances. The only person who would accept him now was Riddler, but he was now going to be almost on the other side of the building. This time he was completely alone.
