I slam my locker shut, and I start walking to english class. Hailey sprints up to me.

"Kara, she isn't going to be at the game." She sputters, out of breathe.

"What! But she is one of our best mid fielders." I answer frustrated.

"I know! She broke her ankle or something." Hailey mutters.

I let out a long, heavy sigh. We were going to have to work extra hard. Especially Alessia, Tallia, Lizzy and I. (We where the four defenders on the team) Without Kara in the midfield, a lot more passes wouldn't be stopped and they would come straight to us.

The ringing of the "go to class or you will be marked tardy" bell makes me lose my train of thought. Hailey and i run to the english room and take our seats in the back of the room.

"Before we get started with class, i would like to make an announcement. Next Friday we are going to have a school dance." Ms. Mathews announces

Hailey looks over at me.

"Has Nate asked you yet?" she teases.

I glare at her. Nate was this boy at school that really liked me, but i just didn't have time for dating between school and sports. I did like Nate though. If he asked me too the dance i would say yes... maybe. When it came to boys (Scratch that... when it came to boyfriends) i was clueless. If you wanted to know how to become friends with boys, i was the girl to talk to. I had about as many girls friends (friends that are girls) as i did boy friends (friends that are boys). But if you needed advice on your relationship, don't come to me. Because i won't have an answer.

"Aria, Aria. Can you answer my question." Ms. Mathews practically yells.

I was screwed.

i had been deep in thought. I think about what we are learning on the board it says Romeo and Juliet.

"Shakespeare?" I said unsure of myself.

"That is correct." She answers.

I look straight trying to hide my astonishment, pretending like i had been paying attention the whole time.
