You make your way into my dreams
Again, these faded pictures seem.
To be as if they were only yesterday.
If these memories could speak, what would they say?
They say a thousand words are in their place;
Alone in the hallway, I begin to pace.
Your smiles haunt my drifted mind.
I can’t recall when I last felt fine.
Are you there? Can you hear me anymore?
Where did you go, when I closed that open door?
You were not suited low enough for my lies.
So I step out into moonlight, with no need for disguise.
The night is my savior, for everything I’ve ever needed.
I see the full moon, and my broken brain pleaded.
These scars on my arm, weren’t from any knife.
Darling, remember, you almost took my life.
I would’ve jumped. I would’ve jumped for you.
Bu there were so many things; I wish now I could do.
Are you okay now? These stars are bright,
Sew my beating heart hut, back to the fight.
Numbness comes over my body again,
My mind has forgotten everything that you said.
If only I could hear your voice one last time.
