Chapter 32: If Remembering

*Author here, this chapter will bring in a bit of Daniel's backstory and I don't know yet if this'll be the only chapter.*

IN DANIEL'S DREAM

"Come on Daniel!!" A loud man's voice echoed in my head. "You have to handle the pain if you're going to protect the ones you love!!" He yelled. I sat there with an emotionless look in my eyes as I struggled to breathe. My mind began to show me images of Emily, Emma and my mother. Gaining back my strength I stood up. My dad gave me a smile as I gave him one as well."I'm not done with you yet old man!! I'm going to hurt you so bad!!" My dad began to laugh as he yelled. "That's the spirit Daniel!! Put you're training to use!!" We then ran towards each other, ready to punch one another. My dream then cut to me and my dad sitting on the floor. "You're a natural learner, I'm sure you'll be able to protect Emily easily, you do love her right?" I blushed as I nodded. "You know, you're not dense."
I was a little confused to why my dad would tell me this. "I know the way you're sister looks at you and you do as well, but it's to be expected, she does see a man in you, the same way your mother looked at me." I punched his shoulder as he apologized. "I'm glad you were dedicated in your training, as you know, Death is inevitable, sooner or later we're going to end up meeting it, I won't be around forever so your sister and friend are going to need someone to protect them." I gave him a nod as he ruffled my hair."I couldn't ask for a better son." I gave him a smile as he gave me a fistbump. I was beginning to wake up as I felt my eyes slowly open up.

"Good to see you're awake Daniel!!" I heard Anna's voice yell out to me. I tried to get up but found it hard to do so. I looked down at myself and noticed I was covered in bandages. I sighed and began to rip them off of me. "Are you sure that's okay Daniel!? You did have them for a reason!!" I gave her a smile as I told her. "I'm more worried about you, have you gotten any sleep?" I looked at her eyes and noticed the darkness under them. I smiled as I said. "Were you staring at me all night?" Anna began to blush as she said. "No!! I was just looking after you while you were getting some sleep!!" Anna continued to blush as I stared at her eyes. "You're making me blush Daniel!! Don't stare!!" I blushed at her reaction. "It's just that I never realized that I would fall in love with a real princess, a beautiful one to be precise." Anna began to emit steam off of herself as she told me. "You're so cruel Daniel, I know about your other girlfriends yet you're confessing to me." Knowing full well how to respond, I told her. "Do you hate me for that?" Anna blushed as she quickly picked my body up "Of course not!! That just means that I can be one of your girlfriends as well!!" I gave her a smile and looked at her blue hair. "Do you like it?" Anna told me as I grabbed a strand of it and examined it. "I like it but I loved your brown blondish hair color better, it was your natural color as well, did you not like it?" Anna blushed and told me. "It's just that I remember hearing you say that your favorite color was blue so yeah..." I smiled as I told her. "Changing yourself to please others is not the right way, it may sound cheesy but being you is always the best." Anna began to tear up a little and I got a bit surprised. "I'm sorry!! Was that too much!?" Anna began to laugh and said. "I'm fine!! Just a little happy to hear that from you!!" Anna looked at me as I stared at her lips. "Now would be a great time to make your move, just saying..." I said as she quickly pushed her lips at me. "I've waited a long time for this Daniel!! I've turned down many prince's and suitors just for you!! And I'm glad I made the right decision!! Anna yelled as her lust began to take over her."You may be tiny Daniel but I can still feel you!! "Did you forget that I have your maids call me every thirty minutes on your current location?" I looked at Anna as she looked down. "Fine!! Just make it quick!! This was supposed to be our heart warming reunion but you're just ruining it!!" Her mother nodded and grabbed me from Anna's hands. "To keep you safe Daniel, I'm going to put you here."
