Sorry guys, my cousin has been in town for two weeks (she still is) so I haven't had a chance to do anything with this. She leaves soon so it'll be back to normal. Maybe, because I did start school on the 19th and I'm taking five classes so it might be a minute before updates are frequent

Shortly after I got home, Aiden went into the bedroom to take a shower. He fell asleep on the bed still in his towel. I got Annalise back to sleep, and then I got Declan down for his nap, fed Annalise again, and then went and took the best shower of my life.
Now both kids are awake, but Aiden is still asleep and I've decided that I'm not waking him up.
While my body has physically been through a lot, he's been through so much mentally.
I mean, he sat down on the bed after his shower with clean clothes next to him, and fell asleep before he could put them on.
He rolled over and the towel came off, so I covered him up with a blanket and closed the curtains. He just needs to rest. The doctor okayed me to start doing some regular activities. He still doesn't like the idea of me driving and he doesn't want me doing anything crazy, but I questioned him on what my limits are, and I'm not going to push them, not only for me, but for the kids and Aiden too.
I can't imagine holding Aiden's hand and then his heart just stops right in front of me. I don't know what's going through his mind, but I do know that he's been doing so much for me and the kids.
After the two babies woke up from their naps, I got both of them dressed and brought them outside. Annalise is covered with a baby hat and a blanket so the sun can't get to her, and Declan is running around our large yard playing with his toys.
I've been cooped up inside for the last week. I would rather be outside.
I shut my eyes, completely content. It feels so good to not have nurses coming in every hour. It feels amazing to be alone with Declan and Annalise, knowing Aiden is here too.
It just feels so good to be home.
Declan comes running up to the back deck, climbing the few steps and walking over to me.
"What's up baby?" I ask him, picking a piece of leaf from his hair.
"I drink?" he points to my glass of ice water.
"Sure." I pick it up. "Two hands."
He grabs my cup with two hands. He's only two, so he hasn't really gotten the hang of the whole drinking from a cup thing yet. He always tries to lean into the drink instead of tilting it back.
I reach out and gently push the bottom of the glass up, tilting it until it reaches his mouth.
He takes a few sips and hands it back to me.
"Thank you!" he smiles, and then he runs back into the yard, kicking around his soccer ball.
I watch as he plays, smiling. It's nice to see him outside just being a little kid.
I wish we had another kid his age to play with him. He's always so alone.
I would play with him, but I'm really not in the physical place to do that right now.
I feel Annalise stir slightly on my chest and I look down. She's shifting in her sleep.
I smile, because she's so wrinkling and squishy and fresh and innocent.
