Sorry I'm updating so late, it's tax free weekend and I work at Target, so I bet you guys can imagine how insane that is :)
________
Alexandra
I lie on the exam bed, impatiently tapping my thighs as I wait for the doctor, glancing at Aiden, who seems perfectly calm, scrolling through his phone.
"How are you not freaking out?" I ask him suddenly.
"Sitting there freaking out isn't going to make this go by any faster. I'm trying to distract myself." He shrugs.
"But like, you're about to see your child. Aren't you excited?"
He looks at me.
"Of course I'm excited. I'm very excited, but I'm trying to be calm."
I study him for a moment, and then I take a deep breath.
He reaches up to pull my shirt up to my ribs.
"Suck in." he says.
"Why?" I ask him.
"Because."
I suck my stomach in, and when I do, I can see the lower part of my stomach jutting out.
"Look," he murmurs, reaching out to brush his fingertips over my skin. "That's the baby."
I release my breath.
"Or I'm just fat."
"Are you kidding?" he asks. "You're not fat, Alexandra."
"Wow, you're bringing out the full name and everything." I laugh.
"Because you're not fat." He rolls his eyes.
"Well I'm going to get fat." I say. "I'm going to be huge. You're barely going to be able to hug me."
"I don't care if you're a billion pounds. I'll love you just the same." He shoves his phone in his pocket and stands up. "Now give me a kiss."
I tilt my head up at him and pucker.
He leans down, and right when his lips get close to mine, I stick my tongue out.
"Ew. You're so disgusting. I hate you." he laughs, wiping his face.
"You love me." I tease him.
He shakes his head at me, but he's smiling.
"Give me a kiss." He begs. He leans down again, and I stick my tongue out.
"Gross! Stop it!" he whines, leaning down to wipe my saliva on my shoulder. He's laughing. "Come on! I want a real kiss, Lexi. Please? A real one?"
"Fine. You get one." I reach up and tap his nose.
He frowns down at me.
"What?" I ask him.
"You're the only girl I'm ever going to kiss again. You realize that, right? I think I deserve an infinite number of kisses, especially since you steal the blankets literally every single night."
I scoff, pushing his chest.
"First of all, you chose to only kiss me. Second of all, you're an oven. You don't get cold."
"Are you kidding? Yes I do!"
"Steal them back, Aiden, nobody told you that you can't." I roll my eyes.

Teen Fiction"What happens if a fish falls down the waterfall?" I ask Aiden, turning to him. He shrugs. "It probably dies." "That sucks. So a fish could like, push another fish? And then it falls and dies? That's murder." He starts laughing. "You're so weird." "...
