"Aiden, please be careful." I call out, watching as he attempts to light like four fireworks at once.

The moment the last wick lights up, he takes off running, barely getting away before they start shooting off. Declan is in awe, his eyes wide as he watches them light up the sky.

"Wow!"

Aiden comes to a halt next to me, a loopy smile on his lips as he kisses my cheek.

"You're going to get hurt if you keep trying to be a little daredevil." I warn with a smile.

"Should I take that as a threat, Mrs. Moran?"

"Possibly." I smile.

He laughs and kisses my lips.

All of the couples are cuddled together. Mike and Ali have been dating for a few months officially now. Mike is holding their daughter, Gabriella, and Ali is leaning against them.

At first it was weird to see them together, kissing and such, but now I think it's cute, and they both seem really happy.

Danny is sitting alone and I decide that since I'm a stay at home Mom of two kids, I'm going to invest what time I have into finding him a girlfriend.

He's almost thirty. I know he wants kids, and he's not ugly, and he's funny. I guess he just hasn't found the right girl yet.

Aiden takes Annalise from me and drapes his other arm around my shoulder.

I lean into him, looking up at the fireworks.

"You know," Aiden murmurs. "At one point I thought I was never going to see you alive again, spend time with you, love you...and I'm just grateful for you, Lexi. I love you."

I smile and turn my head to face him.

"I love you too." I smile.

He leans down and kisses me slowly.

I deepen it, deeply craving him, his touch, just him in general.

"Aye, the fireworks stopped!" Mike bellows. "Quit making out and go light another round!"

Aiden pulls away from me and starts laughing.

He kisses me again, hands Anna to me, and then he walks over to the fireworks.

I glance over a Mike and roll my eyes. He shrugs and pulls Ali closer to him.

I smile, looking around at everyone. They're all together.

Except my parents. Dad is sitting with Danny, and Mom is standing alone on the deck.

I open my mouth to ask if they're okay and close it a moment later, looking back at Aiden to make sure he doesn't blow his face up.

He lights another round.

"This is the last one!" he calls.

"Be careful!" I yell at him as he starts five in a row.

"Aiden, please watch out!" Camilla calls.

He flinches back as he lights them.

"Aiden!" I exclaim.

By the time the fifth one is lit, the first one goes off, and he runs towards me.

"You almost blew your face up!" I exclaim.

"I'm alright." He smiles. "Promise."

I roll my eyes.

Men.
