James slammed his car door shut, practically sprinting from the car park to the infamous river. He could hear another car swerve in behind him, presumably Will or Stephen, but James couldn't find it within himself to check. He had to find Alex. He couldn't waste any time on something as small as checking who else had arrived.

Had it not been wrecked with terrible memories for him, James would probably have enjoyed the tranquillity of the place; the soothing sound of the water flowing gently down the riverbed, occasionally brushing rocks as it went along it's journey. At the beginning for the riverbed, there was a waterfall, a gentle stream cascading down the rocks, only enhancing the beauty to the scene. The waterfall flowed down a cliff, uneven and jagged as the rock was.

The same cliff Alex previously jumped off.

"Alex!" He shouted as he slowed beside the river. "Alex!"

"Al!" James heard from behind him, Will's geordie accent almost echoing James' voice.

"He's not answering his phone."

James turned around, looking down at George, who paced around. He held his phone to his ear, blinking back a few tears as he relentlessly tried phoning Alex. James closed his eyes, taking a deep breathe in an attempt to calm himself down.

"Alex!" James shouted, louder this time.

"D'ya reckon he could... already be in there?" Will whispered, nodding towards the river. Quickly scanning the water with his eyes, James shook his head.

"We'd have seen him otherwise." James muttered, tapping his foot anxiously. Stephen ran over not too long after.

"Still not found him?" He panted. James shook his head.

"Alex!" Stephen shouted. "None of us are mad. I promise. Just answer us love. We just want to help you."

James ran a hand through his hair in frustration. Alex's brother was going to kill him. They truly couldn't find him, even after being told where he was.

Until...

"Promise you won't be mad?"
