It didn't take long for the news to spread, thought James couldn't find it within himself to care. Sure, Fraser was his boyfriend, but he was just another fish in the sea. He could surely find another one. After all, James wasn't a bad person. He didn't kill Fraser. Fraser killed himself.
Right?
Of course, James couldn't explain it that way. Alex hated him. Will hated him. George hated him. Hell, even Stephen, Lewis and Erling hated him. James couldn't understand why though. He hadn't done anything wrong. It was all Fraser's choice to die, just like it had been Matt's.
James was innocent.
He couldn't bring himself to attend to the funeral. Alex had warned him not to; that Fraser's dad had been furious, and all the blame was to be pinned on James.
James didn't care. He'd find someone else. Fraser's wasn't that attractive anyway.
Speaking of which, it didn't take him long to log back into his Instagram. Granted, he didn't have any friends left, only a few inactive accounts following him, but that wouldn't stop James. It never had before. Clicking on his tagged posts, he scrolled through countless amounts of posts from Fraser's various friends and followers, all speaking of how disgusting of a human he was, and how Fraser had been too precious for the world.
Lies.
They never cared about Fraser.
Fraser wouldn't have died if they cared.
He stopped on a certain post though, one under an account James placed as familiar. He couldn't understand why, but he knew he could vaguely recognise the username, definitely one of Fraser's friends.

I loved him dearly, he was as close to a brother as I would ever get. I wanted to thank everyone who helped and supported with his funeral, Fraser would've loved to have known that this manypeople cared about him. You've been my rock through this entire thing, and Fraser would've been happy to know that we had each otherthrough this horrible time.
