"Ria!" I called out. I told her not to go through the woods, but no! We just had to take this way home, didn't we?! We couldn't see anything, except for a figure about twenty feet away. I was looking for my sister, but couldn't see her anywhere!
"Chloe? Where are you?! I can't see anything!" Ria said, with a hint of fear in her voice. I finally saw her and started walking towards her, looking over to also see the figure moving further away. It was finally over. We didn't have to worry about this anymore. Or so I thought...

2 Weeks Earlier
Chloe's POV
"Girls? Are you ready to leave?" Our mother called out. We were moving to a nice neighborhood. We weren't too happy about leaving all of our friends behind. "Yes, mom!" Ria and I said quickly. My mom knew that we would have to suffer a lot and leave behind good friends, but Ria had it way worse. Not only did she have to leave her closest friends, but she also had to leave her boyfriend, Caleb. We were both very sweaty from packing. Who knew packing could be so hard?! Jeez! I was packing my last box, as was Ria.
"Hey," I started, "Maybe it won't be as bad and crappy as we think."
"Yeah, you've told me that, like, four times in the last twenty minutes. But, sorry, it's not really helping." She said sadly.
"Well, you know what will make you happy?" I said with a grin.
"What, Chloe?" She said, upset.
"This!" I yelled, as I tried to hug her. If I know one thing about my twin, it's that she really likes her personal space and hates hugs. As I tried to hug her, the thing that started as just us playing around, suddenly got pulled into a full-out hugging war. I finally caught her and hugged her, and she tried to pry my arms off of her, but my grip only got tighter.
"Chloe, stop it, you jerk! You are such a pain! You know I like my personal space!!" She yelled with both anger and desperation in her voice.
"Never will I EVER stop hugging you until you are happy, damn it!!" I yelled throughout laughs.
Suddenly, we saw our mom standing in the door way with something, better yet someone standing behind her. She stepped aside to reveal a highly confused Caleb Johnson.
"Hey, Ria. How's it going?" He asked.
"Oh, did you, um, did you see that?" Ria asked, trying to keep from blushing.
"Uh, yeah, but I-I got these for you." He said, changing the subject. I didn't even notice that his hand was behind his back until he started to pull it out, only to reveal a beautiful bunch of roses and daisies.
"Caleb, they're beautiful! Thanks." She said blushing more. My mom smiled and said, "Ok, little lovebirds! Time for Caleb to share some great news to us!"
"Oh, yeah, Ria? You might want to take a seat for this." Caleb said. Ria listened and sat down in the seat closest to her.
"Ok, well, I have a round-trip ticket to go with you guys for two months!" He said happily.
Ria became silent. We looked at her to see a huge smile spread across her face. "Chloe?" She said.
"Yeah?" I said back. "Did I just here what I think I just heard?!" She said, starting to get up and jump up and down. We all watched and laughed as she jumped into Caleb's arms and started saying how happy she was. Ria Cortez, my hormonal sister who practically hated the idea of the trip, was suddenly happier than we've ever seen.
"Ok, time to go! You ready?" Mom asked one last time, before we all got packed up in the rental car, on the way to the airport.
When we got there, we gave the nice ladies our tickets and boarded the plane. I sat in a row with Caleb and Ria, while my parents, Leah and John Cortez, sat in a different row with a young, teenage boy, who, by the looks of it, seems about our age. We were all so excited. All that made me happy was that the whole way there, all Ria, Caleb and I did was watch scary horror movies, and read creepy horror stories. Since we had enough money, thanks to Dad's job, we got a lot of attention from the assistants. Ria fell asleep half of the way there buried in Caleb's chest. Caleb and I watched a few horror movies, but fell asleep at somewhere around 10 PM. We awoke to the sound of the pilot's voice. The whole room got silent.
"What's the problem?" I asked Ria and Caleb.
"It turns out that we are only three miles away from our destination!" She said with glee.
"And some guy was killed in the airport yesterday at about 4. Isn't that the time that we were there?" Caleb asked.
"Uh, yeah, I think so. But as long as we are safe, that's all that matters, right?" I asked.
"Right," Caleb and Ria said in collision.
"All passengers, please stay seated and stay buckled in as we end our flight. Have a nice day. Thank you." The pilot said on the intercom.
"Yay! We're here!" Exclaimed Ria, as Caleb pulled her into a tight hug. "Yeah, we are, are you excited?"
"Yeah, I just can't wai-"
"She can't wait to see the school, and the park, and everything!" I said happily.
"Yeah, that." Ria said laughing.
I couldn't really blame her, I mean, I really couldn't wait either. I've heard that they sell souvenirs here from other parts of the state. As we drove to our new house, all I could think about was making new friends, and, who knows? Maybe even a boyfriend.
