Ria's POV

We were on our way off of the plane, tired and exhausted. But that all changed when I saw something that would stick with me forever; a black rose! I looked at it, not realizing that I was slowly walking towards it.

"Ria! Earth to Ria! Hello?!" Chloe shouted in my face, waking me from my little trance. We just stood there for a few minutes, when a little boy with a Superman mask on came up to us.

"Do you has money? I want a Superman action figure. It says 'Pow!'" He said with a wide smile peeking through his little mask. "Of course! How much money do you need?" My mom asked.

"Twelve dollars, please." He said in a sweet voice. My mom gave him the money and he left to the toy shop around the corner of the airport. My dad had given her an odd look and she simply said, "What? Just being friendly."

For some reason, I was still just standing there, not even noticing that I was, once again, in my little trance. I suddenly stopped, realizing that I still had some cash. I looked around for Caleb and my dad, but couldn't see them.

"Where's dad and Caleb?" I asked, quite confused. "Oh, Caleb wanted to get you something, but dad said he couldn't go alone. They'll be back soon." My mom assured me. "Ok, can I go over there?" I pointed to the black rose.

"Sure, Ria. But stick with Chloe, ok? Be safe. I'll go check on your father and Caleb. Call me when you are done." She said as she walked away. I went over, only to see that the rose was gone. I looked around frantically for the rose. I turned around, only to bump into someone. As I looked up, I saw that it was Caleb. He had his hand behind his back.

"I might have gotten you some more, but you might like these better." He pulled out his hand to show us a small bouquet of the black roses. "Aww! I love them soo much! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!"

We finally decided to leave, when the same boy came over from before.

"Can you help me find my mommy?" He said, his mask off and tears in his eyes.

"It's ok, don't cry. I will help you, ok?" I told him reassuringly. We looked for what seemed like forever, but still haven't found his mother. So, we decided to take him to the police.

"Um, hello, Officer. We have this lost boy. He cannot seem to find his mother." My mom said. "Uh, Ma'am, there have been no reports of missing children. Where is this child?" He said. We took him to where we left him with Caleb and dad. After, we finally left.

"Ok! Time to go, finally! Who's excited?!" My dad asks. We all said "I" and he started to drive.

Two hours Later

Chloe's POV

We had finally gotten to the house. Jeez! It was huge! Right when we walked inside, a cool breeze rushed up to us. "I call the biggest room!!" Ria shouted from upstairs.

"No you don't, girly!!" Dad said.

I just walked around the house for a little bit. I walked upstairs, and into a room. On the floor was a dark blue carpet, with a dark blue tile in a corner. The walls were a perfect shade of black. Ugh, it was just, so amazing! I looked around, and one corner had a little bit of stained carpet. I didn't mind, only because it made it even more perfect.

"Honey, you ok?" My dad said as he walked in. "Yeah, it's just, so, so perfect!!" I exclaimed. "Well, it's yours if you want." He told me.

I nodded psychotically, getting a little too happy.

That night, we were already unpacked and ready to continue on with our normal lives. Ria and I decided to stay up late, reading about horror and murder and stuff like that. We thought that we might find some interesting things about our new town, so we looked it up. The very first thing that popped up was something called Recent Killings.

I looked at it just to see that there really were recent killings. I could literally feel Ria's excitement. I bet she could feel mine, too. The best part is that they were next to where we live, now! Wow! I am soo happy that something in my life is finally exciting! We kept on looking at the results to what witnesses said, but all we got out of it was a man, age about 16 (our age!!), black pants, white hoodie, and, the thing that got us interested was that one witness said that he had a slit smile, but the authorities said that she was also driven insane, so didn't listen to that.

"Look! He's my age!" I said quietly.

"Umm, but, we're twins so he is also my age, too." Ria said. I shrugged and continued reading the articles. As we read, we came across something titled Where Killings Took Place.

Where Killings Took Place

Most of these killings have been taking place all around our town. About two-thirds of the killings took place on Glendale Ln. People living on this street have been informed of this, but most chose to stay, thinking that the mysterious killer will not come by to take a visit. After having two people killed since then, we are warning all on Glendale Ln. to lock your windows, doors, and always keep a weapon with you, but only on this particular street. People from Glendale Ln., please be safe. For we do not know if this is yet possible. We have sent the police to watch over people 24/7. Stay in doors, lock doors and windows, and keep all children safe as possible. Thank you.

"Omg! Did you see that article?! Wow!" Ria exclaimed.

"Why aren't you guys asleep? It's two in the freaking morning!" My dad shouted from downstairs, waking the adorable, sleeping Caleb from his slumber, just to have him come to my room, grab Ria, and go back. "What?" I asked myself out of confusion. I decided that it was time to go to bed, so I did..
