Ch.9

After being deputized we got on our horses and road off, out of the barn.

We stopped, "Lugar Peligroso." Chavez said.

"Bad medicine my friends."

"You got that right." Doc said.

"What the hell Doc you grew up in a hole worse than that, didn't you?" Asked Steve.

"Yeah but I've been cultured since." Doc said.

"Okay Henry Hill was supposed to be in there with a lady since noon." Richard said.

"I'm gonna show him a warrant and take him home." Richard said.

"Yeah."

"Yeah, we gotta take him." 

"I say, we do." William said.

"Hey ya Billy." Richard said.

"Why don't you go inside and have a looksy." Richard said.

Some nodded I just looked down.

"Go on Billy." Richard orders as William looked over then I sighed.

"I'll go." I said making them look at me.

"The hell you a-" William said.

"I'll do it." I said rolling my eyes again.

"Go see if Hills is in there if he is bring him too us." Richard said handing Chavez the note then Chavez handed it to me.

I opened it, I grinned at it and soon took my coat off leaving it on my horse getting down.

I walked inside seeing men gambling, drinking and hanging out with a few ladies.

Some looked back at me when I walked in, "Hey, give me two cards." Someone said as I covered my badge.

"I'll take two." Another person said.

"Hey, Hill you want another drink?" Someone asked.

"Gonna drain it first." Hill said.

"Maybe I'll have Janet here give me a hand Doc says not to nothing to heavy." Hill said.

"Oh yeah? Doctors gonna tell you ain't never gonna use it again if you talk to me like that, Henry Hill." She said.

I backed away slowly, leaving.

The regulators and William watched me come out of the bar, I went behind the guys bathroom watching Henry go in.

"Henry Hill?" I said.

"Yeah?" He said.

I point my gun at him when he faces my direction from the window "Howdy." I said smirking and shot him.

Men came out and got their guns out.

"Sh*t" Steve said.

Doc was the first to shoot at them, when they came riding.

I went inside smirking "By the way your under arrest." I laughed as I put the note in his mouth that was wide open.

Gunshots continued firing making me kneel down as the door blew open.

I jumped out of the window only for a gun shot to be shot at near my foot making me flinch.

I shot one guy that was trying to shoot the others.

Everyone just continued shooting at each other.

One of the regulators came over and brought my horse I got on quickly and we all took off riding.

"Mary!" Richard said angry.

"You weren't supposed to smoke anybody we got warrants were the law!" He said.

Elizabeth was reading a newspaper "Nine men lay dead or deaths door yesterday noon, following a gunfight between Lincoln resident Henry Hill, forty- five and what patrons have called "The Runner and The Kid."

"A local miner has identified The Runner and The Kid as one of Henry McCarthy also known as William H.Bonney nineteen or twenty and Mary as eighteen or nineteen. In a flaming shoutout 'The Runner' killed Mr.Hill then took out on an onslaught of Hills partisans brining the damage to six verified slayings. Bonney is believed to be captain of deputized gang." Harry finished for her.

"Captain?" Steve started.

"How come it don't say nothing about.....about the two I closed down..." Steve said.

"Sh*t you sent a lamb into slaughter and he walked out a king sheep." Charley spoke.

"El Chivato 'The Kid' huh?" Chevaz said.

"Yeah but I didn't do it Mary did." He said looking at me not trying to get all the credit.

"D*mn Murphy's gonna want blood, Brain's and balls for this."

"Like I got any." I said about the last part.

Doc looked through a hole peeking his eyes went wide when he seen Yen Sun. "I gotta get out of here." Doc ran

"Hey Doc don't be stupid." Richard said as doc turned around

"What?" Doc asked.

"You know there gonna be looking for us." Richard said.

"Yeah I know I'm gonna be back in one more minute." Doc said worriedly.

I leaned my head back against the wall.
