Ch.1

She was walking around seeing a guy running and jumping over barrels but the girl recognized him, William . Again?? He's always running from something only to see him coming to her, she was suddenly pulled with him.

"William!" She whisper shouted as he pulled me but she ran with him, "No, time to explain!" He yelled running.

The two just kept running, as they jumped over a fence and hid by the animals crawling. "Are you serious-" the two stopped and he covered her mouth as they seen Josiah and John.

She got William's hand off her mouth glaring, as a guy pointed his gun at them "Howdy." 

"Come on." The guy next to him ordered.

"Don't be afraid." John said.

"Hurry up don't be afraid" John reasoned.

The two looked at each other and jumped over the fence secretly and got in the back on the cart, the horse road away with them.

"Now are you gonna explain?" The girl asked him "Just random guys." William said looking at her "What do you mean just random guys you could've gotten killed!" She shouted.

"Hey! calm down, I didn't alright?" William said annoyed. She just looked away and honestly couldn't with him at the moment.

They arrived at some farm, four guys and one girl, She just looked down running a hand through her hair.

"Back it up knock it off." They heard before looking up.

Two guys seemed to be arguing one on the horse was trying to separate them.

But William noticed her glance, "Will you guys stop, I had it with you two today." The lady said hitting them both back of heads "Hey-" one of them said.

"Navajo Navajo" one guy shouted.

"Enough." The guy on the horse said.

"Who are them?" William asks before she could.

"They William. Who are they?" John repeated making the girl roll her eyes.

"They are the boys and girls of dregs.... the flotsam and jetsam of frontier society, if you will-" Doc jumped off the cart towards the others.

She ended up locking eyes with the one guy on the horse, but quickly looked away, seeing the girl cross her arms.

William noticed as he held her hand, he gets over protective when she's around other guys she don't know if that's a good thing?

Josiah gets off and goes over to them "Glad your, back Doc." The guy on the horse had said.

"Hold the rope, inside."

"John bring two hard case in?" Charley asked.

"Hope it ain't another Mexican." Steve laughed lightly.

"Mexican Indian you son of a b*tch." Chavez retorted.

"If you both do wish to stay, well... we have just the job for you two." John said.

She looked at William a bit nervous on what hers was gonna be he just squeezes her hand.

"Ooo a hot lady I see." The person got hit by the guy on the horse "No, screwing around you, know the rules." He said.

"Whatever." The other guy said.

She was inside, cleaning with the women "So..." she said.

"So..." Mary said.

"What's your name?" She asked.

"What's yours?" Mary asked.

"I asked first." She said the two stopped.

"Mary."

"That's a rare name you don't hear it too often in this area, but um. Elizabeth... you can call me Beth." She said Mary nodded smiling.

"Who's the guy on the horse from earlier?" Mary asked. "Richard. Why?" She asked.

Mary shrugged biting my lower lip "Wait do you-" She asked "No, no I don't- I'm dating William." Mary said she nodded. Dating William? Seriously??? We're just friends why would she say that!

Then Mary heard a pig squeal making her walk out the door curiously, seeing William throw the bowl at the pig , the girl sighed as she crossed her arms watching.

He backed away from the pig as much as he could, "He ain't all there is he?" Someone said behind her making the girl jump and almost hit him.

But the guy grabbed her wrist before she could "Woah, take it easy there." He said "I'm Steve" he said as he let go.

"Mary...." She replied shortly.

William was now sitting on the fence pointing his gun at the pig, then knives were thrown at the wood near Williams face dangerously close.

She was angry who ever done that was gonna get hurt, one guy started coming over as Mary went to him shoving him getting the others attention.

"What do you think you can just throw d*mn daggers near peoples heads?!?" She shouted as he grabbed her by my arms to calm her down but her not liking being controlled she shoved him off punching him.

William and the others came over holding them back "You son of a b*tch!" The guy yelled.

"Calm down I'm okay-" She heard William whisper but she shrugged him off and walked a little bit away when Beth came out to her.

"I can't believe you did that" Elizabeth said.

"What I stood up for him. He could've gotten killed!" Mary yelled

"I missed." He said holding his nose slightly from his nose bleeding.

"I don't give a sh*t!" Mary said.

"Yeah, well now your gonna have more people not to trust you." She said.

"Yeah, Yeah Okay." Mary said rolling her eyes.

A rope was thrown over the fence making William and her flinch as the greaser walked away "Hehe did you know that pigs are as smart as dogs?" He asked laughing a bit.

"It's true." He said.

Mary looked over at the greaser guy, she decided to go over thinking she might have overreacted slightly "What do you want? Haven't you caused enough trouble?" He said she got a rag and other supplies to help heal his nose.

They both stared at each other as he just then said "Thank you."

"Sorry... I can get over protective." She said.

"I would be to if it was someone I loved." He said.

"Chavez" he said.

"Mary."
