ACT ONE — City of Gold

Scene Seven

The hug between Taehyung and his younger sister was a touching moment in both of their hearts. Taehyung knew that his little sister had changed after their mother passed away, she'd blocked off so much of the world but in this moment Taehyung knew that she still cared deeply for him. As for (Y/n) this hug shared with her brother allowed her to breathe in relief and appreciate that fact that her brother was still right here in front of her.

Once the two of them finally let each other go (Y/n) began to question Taehyung about his whereabouts. She'd spent the entire day worrying for him thinking that maybe he'd been kidnapped by the rival Kingdom, now it was time for the truth.

"Where did you go Taehyung? You promised me extra training and when I showed up you weren't there! I was so worried, I'd thought something happened to you!" Taehyung blinked in surprise, he hadn't realized he'd invited his younger sister to train with him before he snuck out.

"I'm sorry for not telling you before I left but I went to go see a friend earlier, we don't get to meet up often and I guess I just got so excited I bolted without telling anyone hehe."

(Y/n) placed her palm on her forehead in embarrassment, it was exactly like Taehyung to run off without telling anyone. She'd been so worried for her brothers' safety that she didn't even think about trusting the words of a complete and utter stranger.

When (Y/n) looked back up, her brothers sparkling grey eyes met her own, she nodded and thanked him before she left his room and made her way back to her own.

It was late when Jimin had returned to his palace for the second time that day. He'd stayed at the waterfall contemplating whether giving his kingdoms plans away was such a good idea. The scene of telling (Y/n) constantly replayed in his mind as he sat alone on his rock near the waterfall. The way she reacted to the news, why was she so affected? After the war broke out many citizens were reluctant to stand by either of the kingdom's leaders if she was just someone simply living under the southern kings rule, surely she wouldn't have reacted the way she did. Who was she? More importantly what was her relation to the ruler of her kingdom.

As these thoughts continue to lurk around Jimin's mind he hadn't even realized he walked so far into the castle he was nearly feet away from smacking headfirst into his fathers iron throne. He was about to turn away and begin his journey to his room when he noticed something odd. His father was standing near the entrance of the common room and next to him was a boy who seemed a couple of years younger than Jimin himself, he had dark brown hair and eyes and was quite tall possibly taller than Jimin.

Jimin was confused at who this boy was, it certainly wasn't Youngjae or any of the other servants in this castle. Did his father hire a new staff member? It seemed unlikely considering the fact that he'd never personally talked to any of his servants after hiring them. So who was this boy?

When Jimin walked closer to the scene his footsteps on the marble floor alerted his father; the king of his entrance. "Jimin-ah, there's someone I'd like you to meet." 'Jimin-ah?' when did my father ever use honorifics with me? Somethings up. Jimin felt uncomfortable with his father but nodded at him to continue speaking regardless. "Jimin, this is Jungkook. He's our way of defeating the Northern Kingdom." There was no emotion in his father's voice, instead, it came out stern and cold, whatever personality flip had occurred within the King before this was unknown.

Jimin wasn't sure how to respond to the new information his father had bestowed upon him. How was this young fragile looking boy in front of him going to end a decade long war? Jimin was confused and waited for his father's explanation. "The boy in front of you Jimin knows the true persona of the warrior Amaryllis. This is the reason our plan will succeed."

AN: HI everyone, Via here! I hope you all are enjoying the story so far! I'm trying my very best to write these chapters and I'd really appreciate the feedback so don't feel shy to comment! So school will be starting back up in a week or so but don't worry I'll probably update more during this time because school just makes me productive hehe.
