Hindi ko inasahan ang pag punta bigla ni Tori sa mansyon. Wala namang pasabi ang pagpunta niya. She just popped out one day, barging in and hugging me so tight when she saw me.

"Oh my gosh, I missed you!" she pulled me into another hug. Tatlong buwan lang kaming hindi nagkita pero marami ang nagbago sa kanya. She did really get some tan in the beach, she dyed her hair brown and she's glowing. Mas lalo siyang gumanda.

"Gumanda ka, ha, Xerxes.." she chuckled. "Aftermath of marriage?" tinaasan niya ng kilay si Trevelyan na ngayon ay papunta sa amin at may hawak na dalawang baso ng juice. A maid followed him carrying some snacks.

"Hi, Treb." she smiled sweetly, nagbeso pa ito. "Congratulations sa kasal niyo nitong bestfriend ko, too bad I missed."

Tipid na ngumiti si Trevelyan. "It's okay."

"I haven't talked to you in so long! Tuwing nagkikita naman tayo ay hindi tayo naguusap. Anyways, sorry sa pag punta ng walang pasabi. I just got so excited to see her. Kararating ko lang."

"You were out of the country, yes? Nagkita kasi kami ni Nolan."

Nolan is her cousin, negosyante rin.

"Ah yes. I was with my fiance. Pre-honeymoon."

Tumango si Trevelyan. "Glad to hear that. Pano, I should go ahead."

"Ingat ka, Trev. By the way, samahan mo si Xerxes next month, ha? You're invited too."

He left shortly after that. Naiwan akong kausap si Tori. Now she's babbling nonstop. Updating me about her.

"In two weeks, punta tayong Amanpulo para sa bachelorette party ko. Just you and my cousins. Everything's set."

I chuckled. "I'm happy for you, Tori. Alam kong excited ka na talaga sa wedding ninyo."

"You tell me." she rolled her eyes. Here's my bestfriend in her off shoulders, ripped jeans and stilettos and a designer bag while I look like a potato in my large shirt and shorts. Kakatapos lang naming mag almusal noong dumating siya. "Pero mas excited si Vincent. Halos hindi mapakali. Mas may time pang makipagkita sa wedding coordinator kesa sa akin."

Unang kilala ko pa lang kay Vincent, I already liked her for Tori. He's kind and a true gentleman. Talagang makikita na mahal na mahal niya ito. He's passionate about her, sa paraan ng pakikipag usap at trato niya kay Tori. He takes here anywhere he goes too, naging parte na ng relasyon nila ang pag tatravel. Just when I thought Tori would never love again, after Paul, nagkamali ako. And I was glad that she moved on and she's found her dream guy.

"They're having a bachelor party, too. In Romblon. Sabi ng mga pinsan ko ay wag ko daw payagan dahil may baka may mga babae." Tori laughed and shook her head. "But I trust him. Hindi nga marunong magsinungaling, eh."

Nalungkot ako para sa sarili. I would never feel that ecstatic feeling Tori feels for her wedding. All I felt after I knew I was arranged marriage to Trevelyan, lungkot at takot ang naramdaman ko. I didn't even wear a gown, nor I chose the reception. Walang bridal entourage, everything a girl could hope for in her wedding, I didn't get it. Not that marriage crossed my mind before. Wala naman akong nagugustuhan, eh. Luckily, I didn't love anyone else. Kung ganoon ang nangyari ay baka mas mahirap. Well, I was prepared to grow old, kahit pa nangangarap na magkaroon ng malaking pamilya.

"You okay?"

I faked a smile and nodded.

"Kamusta naman ang buhay asawa? I hope he's treating you right.."

"He is, noong mga unang narito ako syempre parating masasakit ang naririnig ko mula sa kanya but we're okay now. Civil kami sa isa't isa."

Tumaas ang isang kilay niya. "Well, for now. You'd eventually fall for him again."
