After breakfast, Vish was helping Seema in the kitchen. Rakesh was in his room. Bela and Mahir were still on the breakfast table.

Bela asked Mahir, ' So, you are done with it. Right? '
Mahir asked confusingly, ' Done with what? '
Bela said sarcastically, ' Buttering my Mom.!'

Now, Mahir understood what she was talking about. He replied, ' See Bela, this time I am not wrong. In fact, I have done a thing which you should've done long before. '
Bela asked, ' What do you want to say? Say it clearly. '

Mahir smiled a little. He softly held Bela's hand which was on table and said,' Bela, Life is too short to worry or to get angry. In life, a little happiness matters a lot. Just think once, how much efforts your Mom put to cook your favourite food. She doesn't cook because of her responsibilities. She cooks due to her love for you. If you'll compliment her, even in few words, then her efforts will be worth. She will feel contented.  It's not that she expects something from you. But a few lovely words from our loved ones are enough to make us happy!'

Bela was lost in his talk

Bela was lost in his talk. Never in her life she had thought from this view point. It was not that she didn't love her mother but she was a damn weak student when it comes to express feelings or emotions!

Mahir understood it and said, ' okay, let's have a deal!' Bela asked, ' What deal? ' Mahir explained, ' Today, you'll compliment your Mom. If you feel satisfied after it, then you won't tie Rakhi to me tomorrow. And if you're not satisfied, then just call me once. I, myself, will come at your place to let you tie the Rakhi. '
' Done! ', replied Bela.
'Ok then, Hope to NOT see you tomorrow! ', said Mahir smilingly.

Mahir got up from the table and walked away with a smile. He knew that he had hit the bull's eye!

At evening,
Bela sat on the dining table. Seema had specially made Chicken Biryani for her. It was her favourite.
After eating 2-3 spoons, Bela remembered Mahir's words. She smiled and told her Mom, ' Mamma, the biryani is just delicious! Wonderful! I am going to eat all this alone! '
Seema was shocked would be an understatement. Her ' keep your feelings to yourself ' like daughter was expressing her joy. She was obviously happy. She said with in cheerful tone, ' Really Sona, you liked it? '

Bela was happy seeing her mother happy. She thought , ' Mamma calls me Sona only when she is very happy. That means Mahir was right! '
Bela said, ' Mamma, I loved it! '
Seema kissed Bela's forehead in happiness.

Next day,
It was RakshaBandhan. Bela went to Abhay 's house to tie Rakhi. Abhay gave her a beautiful phone case with her picture.

While returning from Abhay's house,
Bela saw that a thief snatched a gold chain from an elderly lady's neck.
Bela was on her vehicle so she stopped in front of the thief and slapped him hard.

The thief was blank for a second but then he took out a small knife and said, ' Go out of my way or else..'
Bela cut him in between, ' Or else what? You think I am scared of this knife of yours. I am karate black belt. Hand me the chain and you can go.'

The thief put a cut on Bela's arm in order to run away. But Bela grabbed him and kicked him on his stomach.
She said, ' Are you giving the chain or should I call the police?'
The thief was scared now as people were also gathered by now. He gave the chain, apologised and ran away.

Bela handed the chain to the lady. The lady said, ' Thank you so much, Beta.'
Bela replied, ' No need to thank me , Aunty. It was my moral duty to help you.'
The lady said ,' okay fine. But your hand is bleeding. Also you won't be able to drive. So come to my house, I'll provide you first aid.'

Having no other option left, Bela agreed. They both reached the lady's house and rang the doorbell. A person opened the door.

' Mahir? ', slipped out of Bela's mouth seeing him.
