♥ CHAPTER 21 ♥

Mahir pulled Bela and she landed on his chest. She fumbled, ' M..Mahir, What are you doing? '

But Mahir was not paying attention. He hugged her gently and whispered, ' I am sorry, Bela! '

Bela could feel the sadness in his voice. She asked, ' Mahir, Why are you saying sorry? '

Mahir replied, ' It was I who forced you to join this trip. You were denying but still I...'

Belacupped his cheek, ' Mahir, it's not your fault. You didn't forced me, you just convinced me. And I don't regret at all joining you guys. This is the best time I've ever spent in my life. Forget whatever happened that night. '

Mahir replied, ' But still if anything would've happened to you then I would've died. '

Bela could feel the sense of fear in his voice, fear of losing her. His eyes were moist.
Bela couldn't control anymore. She bent down a little and placed a wet kiss near the corner of his eyes.

She whispered, ' Why do you care for me so much? '

Mahir, still staring her intensely, replied, ' Because, I lo...'

' Good morning, guys ', the door snapped open and Vish-Vikrant entered the room.
Their mouth opened wide seeing their position. 

Bela and Mahir both got up hurriedly but it was too late.

Vikrant smirked, ' So, done with the romance? '

Bela's eyes popped out of sockets, ' We were not romancing. And what brings you here in the morning? '

Vish replied, ' We've brought coffee and sandwiches for you both. You guys freshen up, we're waiting downstairs. '

Bela nodded.

Bela and Mahir entered into the washroom with an awkward silence.

Mahir initiated, ' I think we should take the shower first wearing our clothes. And then we'll change it alternatively closing our eyes. '

Bela agreed.

Mahir turned on the shower.
Bela was about to take the shower gel when her leg slipped.

Before she could hit the floor, Mahir held her by her waist.

Mahir made her stand.
Both completed the shower.
While Bela was changing clothes, Mahir closed his eyes.
But as his hand was locked with Bela's hand, it was touching her body frequently.
Mahir tried hard to control his hormones.

On the other hand, Bela had goosebumps on her body feeling his touch.

After changing clothes, both went down and had breakfast.

After Vish and Vikrant left,
Bela asked, ' Mahir, can you give me your books? '

Mahir replied, ' Yeah, sure. But why? '

Bela said, ' We have our 12th board exams within 2 months. And we have already spent so much time enjoying. I think, for a change, even you should study.'

Mahir nodded.

After studying with Bela for almost 3 hours, Mahir realised that that books can be interesting too!
She explained him every topic in such a manner that he didn't need to mug up it.

No study is boring if the company is good!

In the evening,
Bela and Mahir were studying on the bed.
Bela said, ' Offo Mahir, my balance sheet is not getting tallied. '

Mahir grabbed the popcorn bowl and said, ' Leave it Bela and have this yummy cheese popcorn. '

Bela nodded and tried to eat the popcorn but Mahir was in a teasing mood.
He took a handful of popcorn and stuffed it in Bela's mouth.

He grinned, ' Hmm, now you are looking what you exactly are,
A big fat potato!'

Bela's eyes were opened wide hearing that.
She grabbed the popcorn bowl and dumped it on Mahir.

Soon, they were engaged in a messy popcorn fight!

2 days passed within a flick.

The gang leader was arrested and the key was ready.

Bela and Mahir were sitting on the sofa having dual thoughts in their mind.
Happiness of getting released from the handcuffs and the sadness of separation!

Mahir initiated, ' Bela, we have to leave within half an hour. '
Bela replied, ' Hmm.'

Suddenly Bela's phone rang.
She picked up the call.

After few minutes, she exclaimed, ' Whattt?  Are you serious??'

' Okay', saying this she ended the call.

Mahir asked, ' What happened Bela? '

Bela showed him something in her phone and Mahir's face lost all it's colour seeing it!
