Powers of Stampy's lovely world

CHAPTER 5

Stampy's POV

Stampy really needed to sleep more. First Lee could hypnotise people, then Squid could control water? No way. Noooooo way. This could not be real. Maybe this was all a dream or something....

Amy turned towards him, obviously as confused as he was, whereas Lee looked a little... upset that it wasn't just him that had powers. A loud splash made them all jump, and they all stared at squid, who'd dropped the water back into the pit.

Lee was the first one to move. He ran to Squid, smiling and laughing, before smacking him on the back and rapidly talking to him in a reallyfastsoyoucan'tunderstandwhatI'msaying way.

"Sweet! I mean... hypnotising- obvs AMAZING but controlling water... dude you're like Elsa! Apart from you don't freeze stuff... But still!"

Encouraged by Lee, Squid started spraying water everywhere, whilst Lee tried to stop him. Cassie came running up and barked happily as the water made miniature rainbows that danced and glittered in the bright sunlight.

Stampy was just about to run over and join them when Amy collapsed to the ground beside him.

"Guys! Something's wrong with Amy!"

Squid immediately stopped and sprinted over. By the time Lee had got there, Squid was cradling Amy in his arms. And then she sat bolt upright, and opened her eyes to reveal they were a unnatural, deep purple colour.

Stampy and Lee stepped back in shock, but Squid stayed close to Amy, closer than ever, if that was possible. He was the first one to notice Amy was straining to say something.

"Guys, she's trying to say something!" Shamefacedly, Lee and Stampy came back, to realise that Squid was right. Amy was muttering angrily. It was a strange whisper, forced and delayed, and it seemed as though she was struggling to make herself heard. And then Amy spoke in a voice that was not quite hers.

"He has... taken them... your friends... find us... where you were.... quick.... we are... running out... of time... save us... from him.... hit... the... target!"

And then Amy collapsed. Stampy's well-trained mind sprang immediately into action.

"Squid, take Amy to the infirmary. Lee, come with me, we've got to warn the others"

Lee and Stampy ran to the house, where most people would normally be hanging out. But there was no-one there.

They ran around his world. The Funland was deserted. All his farms were empty. There wasn't even anyone in any of the shops.

Finally, he came to the last place he could think of, and pushed open the door. No friendly barks greeted him. All the dogs were gone. The enormity of what had happened hit Stampy, and he sank to the ground after trudging outside. He'd have to face the facts.

Everyone was gone.
