So, as I said last chapter, I don't really know what to do this chapter, so it's gonna be a bit short.
Squid's POV
Well. Not at all awkward. He didn't really know how he felt about Amy, but he was pretty sure that sharing the same power had to meet something.
Amy dropped the lake, and triumphantly walked back to the beds.
"I've got a power! Guys, I've got a power!"
Stampy cheered and hugged her, but Lee had obviously seen the look on Squid's face, and since they'd been best friends for AGES, he had no trouble guessing what Squid was thinking.
"Go for it" he said quietly, while Amy was still squealing.
"What? No, no, no, no. I mean... Yes..." Squid trailed off.
Lee pushed Squid forwards, so hard that Squid nearly knocked Amy over. He caught her just in time, and inwardly cringed.
He was holding her in just the way he wanted first kiss her: both tentacles supporting her back, stopping her from falling. He could just inagine lwaning down, kissing her...But the confused look on her face stopped him from doing anything vaguely romantic. Signing, he lifted Amy back to her feet.
"Copycat! You stole my power!" he laughed, but his smile was too wide and his laugh too fake. It could not have gotten any more awkward.
Luckily, Lee seemed to see what his well-meaning act of Cupid had done, and he shouted "Guys, over here!" loud enough to draw the attention away from the scene.
"What is it?" Stampy asked.
"I think we've found it!" Lee yelled as he crashed through some bushes.
Squid was about to shout to ask him what they'd found when Lee pulled aside a brach. A lone figure could be seen in the distance, slowly patrolling towards them. As they came closer, Squid could almost believe it was Stampy, were it not for one thing. The pink fur.
It was Netty
I'M SO SORRY I JUST HAD TO END IT ON A CLIFFHANGER AGAIN I'M SO SORRY
