Amy's POV
Amy had never worked so hard in her life. Every day she trained, circling the different rooms. She consulted a timetable Squid had written up for her... Great, personal room next. Her personal room contained different containers of water, along with random weapons. She'd have to ask Stampy about those.
Walking into the room, she found Squid absent-mindedly throwing and catching a knife.
"Heya" she said, coming up behind him.
He jumped, and the knife landed on the floor. He turned around as she joked "Stampy will kill you, landing a knife in his SPRRRUCE"
"Yeah, I guess" he replied sheepishly.
"So, what brings you to my room?"
"Stampy finished the pool outside, and he's holding a pool party. You wanna come?"
"Yeah, sounds awesome. I need to cool off anyway, I just did sword fighting with Rosie. Ugh, I'm too sweaty." She replied, and then turned bright red. Why did she have to say that? Squid would be disgusted.
But to her surprise, he grinned.
"Yeah, I tried to take Rosie on yesterday. She got a little... Overexcited."
He turned round and pulled up his shirt, showing a long scar that snaked round his back. Amy couldn't help it, she gasped, and moved towards him. A jolt of electricity surged through her as she gently placed her hand on his back.
They stayed like that until Jake walked in, asking about Stampy. They sprang apart, Amy blushing.
"Oh... Sorry. I was just looking for Stampy. Apparently my room isn't quite fireproof."
Amy grimaced, and he replied, as a way of answer, "I only found out when I was trying to hit a target with my lava. Oh, and by the way, have you seen Laura?"
The door flew open to reveal Laura standing casually at the entrance.
Jake whistled, and said "I wish you'd stop doing that, scares the life outta me."
She laughed, and replied "you wanted me?"
"Yeah, Stampy's added a mob pen to your room, so you can see if you can use magic on them..." Jake started discussing it with Laura as they walked away.
"So, where were we?" Squid's voice dripped like honey in her ear as he playfully snuck a hand round her waist. She slapped it away, and replied "I think we were about to go to the pool. Right?"
Squid laughed.
"Right."
