I walked in my office to find Alpha Josh sitting in the chair in front my desk...

"My queen," He greeted me bowing his head slightly. His lower head saluting me as well.

"Alpha Josh, what brings you to my pack?" I spoke, sultrily, walking to my chair authority clear in my voice.

"My queen, I heard of your fight against the elders and I'm here to assist you in their defeat," he spook with confidence and autority.

I nod my head and sigh, "Well Alpha Josh I'm greatful for your help, from this day on we'll be Allies," I stood up reaching out my hand for him to take.
He nod and took my hand giving it a firm shake, I look past him seeing Alexis entering the room 'I didn't smell her, she's hiding her scent again, oh I see' She turned to me and smirk knowing I hated when she hide her scent.

A small growl lift Alpha Josh's mouth and I turned to see him eyeing my mate with lust and hungry in his eyes, I released a growl laced with authority and possesion, He look towards me as if he was about to challenge me, just when he was about to move Alexis uncloak her scent revealing the fact that she's mated and that she is mine. I look towards her and she mouthed a sorry.

"My queen my apologies for my actions, I don't know what happened I thought she was unmated," he spook fear and regret in his voice.

I nod "That's alright, my little mate here just like messing around, I should be the one sorry," I pat his shoulder."you may leave, I'll inform you on our training schedule."

He nod and bowed slightly "My queen, Luna," both Al and I nod and he left the room.

"Cute stunt," I spook pulling Alexis to me.

"I'm sorry baby," she whispers kissing my lips, I smile shaking my head kissing her back.

"We are going to the Jackson's pack," I told her resting my head on her shoulder.

"Hm...I'll go get ready," she left my head and kiss my cheeks before she left for the room. I stare after her letting out a sigh before I turn and look a the letter from the elders opened on my desk.

'What if we lose? What if Alexis or Dontae gets hurt because of this? What if we're not strong enough?...if these fuckers hurt anyone I love and care about I'm going to end them one by one...'

"Babe...babe...," Al call for me snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh hey babe, ready? " I smiled after her trying to not make her worry.

"Yea, are you okay baby?" I could tell she was not going to let it go.

"Yea I'm alright," I made my way over to her.

"Shantay Jessica Smith don't you dare lie to me," I stopped in my tracks and look at her "It's nothing to worry about, I'll tell you when get back home," I finished my steps and hold her.

"Okay," she spoke and I sigh in relief glad she let it go for now. We head outside and got in the truck, as the car started its journey I began to stare out the window.
